Actually deeply impressed with this game. With a meme premise it feels like anything but with it's art design, additional characters, sparse lore implications, and uncanny early PC game vibe. I really appreciate that they offer alt music tracks to avoid repetition, and the hide and seek gameplay is kind of fun. The issue comes in doing multiple playthroughs for completion purposes as 50 gnomes captured is a TALL ask that wears away the charm fast. Certainly not worth 100%, but a few playthroughs to experience each knights playthrough.

It's... ok. If the price was any higher, it would not be a recommend, and even now I'd advise waiting for a sale. Nothing about it is bad, but what's there isn't much. You play a knight searching through a series of areas to hunt down a series of gnomes hiding as an object. Each level has a simple pace- talk to an NPC and find an amulet, use those radars to track the gnome, smash stuff until you find it, chase the gnome down, if you flub it, find it again, else, grab it and shake it and you're done. Visually, the game holds a strong aesthetic, one that slips into the delightfully surreal in later levels. Narratively, it's not much of anything. I think this game is a slice that gives you a view of an interesting world, but you don't get to do much with or in that world. The NPC designs are quite fun, their dialogue across "paths" paints an evocative portrait. Still, end of the day, there's just not much here beyond a creative talent that could be applied to a better game someday down the line.
