When I first heard that there was a game where I could torture hamsters, I didn’t think much of it. I saw a short-form video on Instagram here and there, but didn’t think much of it. I saw this game on Steam and knew it was a calling I was meant to play. In what I had seen, there was no story, and there was no plot to it, which I was so wrong to think. The main character versus the hamster man is one of the most compelling plot developments of the 21st century. In the end, it wasn’t about who killed whom or what actions caused what, but who acted first. After the hamster man killed your family, it was simply about who reacted fast enough first. This game feels like a tragedy that never really happened, yet still left nasty scars. Hamster Man will not be remembered and should be forgotten, for he wasn’t fast enough to react to the main characters’ retaliation. For that I say now not to anyone reading this review but to the hamster man… Stand proud, hamster man, know that you were strong.
