This game brought back my nostalgia for the early 2000s on dial up internet with sprinkling of unsettling situations. It gave me AI unrestrained vibes and genuinely made me uncomfortable. I actually really enjoyed that there was no tutorial. I had to think about everything and explore. I like that there were no cheap scares. I think it could have been a bit darker but genuinely I am impressed

This was a very enjoyable game. I just wish it was a little longer and had some more content. More web to search around in. I hope to see more from this developer in the future! :)

I enjoyed my time with Heaven Does Not Respond, and wanted to give it a positive review for visibility, with a few caveats. This is a fun, retro-OS based puzzler with some mystery and horror elements, and the core gameplay is really pleasant. I found the puzzles to be just the right level of difficulty: there's little hand-holding, but everything is logical and you'll find your way through easily enough by exploring thoroughly and applying a bit of critical thinking. It's pretty bite-sized - my playtime includes about an hour of idling as well as taking time to peruse all of the optional content - and I'd estimate most people could finish it in about 2.5-3 hours. It's the perfect game to play through in a sitting or two, and doesn't overstay its welcome. If I have a complaint, it's with the last half hour or so, where I don't think that it quite sticks the landing. There's some really funny and creative ancillary writing in here - a lot of the social media-style posts and the entries on the primary blog in the game had me laughing - but the main plotline thins out towards the end, and I didn't find the conclusion to be especially satisfying. There are threads you'll find throughout the game that seem to be building to a larger payoff that never quite came, and without spoilers, the ending felt anticlimactic and flat enough to me to bring the game down from a 5/5 to a 3/5 or so. It's not a major detractor, but it's also worth noting that the advertised "memory videos"/first-person interludes are very short and minimal, and basically just consist of walking from Point A to Point B: they'd function more or less the same as cutscenes, as there's very little actual gameplay in them. The self-contained mock internet is also pretty small, and I would have enjoyed a couple of additional pages to navigate. I don't consider it a knock against the game, but as a final point, I'd mention that most of the horror elements come from occasional jumpscares of loud noises or unsettling images popping up as you're browsing around and solving puzzles. I think they're reasonably well executed, but if you're the kind of person that doesn't like jumpscares, you may enjoy the experience less. All of that said, I had a fun time with the game. As mentioned, the puzzle elements are fun and well-crafted, and the mock OS you'll be spending 90% of your time in is immersive and nostalgic. It's a commendable effort from a small team: I just wish that the final act was a bit more bombastic and satisfying. Worth a playthrough.

This game is amazing I have little words to properly do it justice explaining it, This game deserves all the attention it can get! The music the style the creepiness and the narrative all come together to make an amazing experience that is challenging but exciting and rewarding please give this game ago it is worth your time! And well done to the developers who made this game!

It turned out to be much more atmospheric than I expected. The retro style isn't just visual; it's felt in the gameplay as well. At times, it manages to be genuinely unsettling (in a good way). It's a fantastic game.
