decided to redownload this game as it was one of the only soulslikes i deleted because it just felt so janky at the time i played it but this was coming after playing remnant 1-2 as well as fromsoft games, so of course it was gonna feel reallly bad. i came back to it for the summer sale and grabbed it again and this time around, i actually enjoyed it. the vibe of the game is really dope, the exploration is fun and the game becomes a lot easier once you know how to level up your guns and stats properly. it can be a little confusing on where to go in some areas because a lot of the areas look the same but the level design gives me vibes of the surge 2, except in this game they are slightly more open and not as compact. the boss fights were fun and the game isn't overly long or doesn't overstay its welcome despite the issues it does have. the character can be floaty with shooting and it has some glitches but overall i would recommend grabbing it for under $10, and you can be happy and get your money's worth. recommended for souls fans who want sci fi with shooting painted over dark souls 1!
