A creepy compliment to the movie set in the same universe, with a little crossover, but nothing you need to know. A dark, disturbing game, focused less on jump-scares and more on a creeping sense of dread. Not perfect, but a great psychological horror game to get on offer - especially if you loved the movie.

I really enjoyed this game and after playing the demo decided to buy it. Completed and obtained all the achievements in about 5-6 hours so I feel like it was well worth the price. Playing in the dark wearing headphones certainly made it much creepier. I haven't seen the film but look forward to watching it.

If you liked the themes of the movie this is not a stupid rehash of what was there but explores differently themes found in the film. Much better than I expected, tries to be a bit too scary sometimes and ends up goofy but overhaul, it's a great. It's cheap and impactful with pretty smart choices, not horror game of the year material but a great companion piece to the movie.

Why has seemingly no one played this? Another great title from SoftStar - while the gameplay is more streamlined when compared to Bridge Curse 2, the tension, atmosphere and overall constant sense of impending dread shoots through the roof. You could cut the tension with a knife, and it never lets up. My only nitpick would again be issues with sound balancing, while the sound design is superb, the implementation is lacking in areas, leading to voices being far, far too loud most of the time, and with this time with no volume slider for voice!? Coming in at around 4-5 hours with bonus chapter, it ends before it outstays its welcome. I was a bit confused by the ending, but I may need to go back and re-read some notes. Definitely would recommend for fans of psychological horror akin to Silent Hill, Project Zero (Fatal Frame) and Forbidden Siren.

A good experience, but the movie is simply superior. I did enjoy the cultist (in their underwear) jump scares though, got me a few times.
