Here's the scoop kid's! Gameplay: 6/10 It's fun, but get's boring very quick. It's an overhead view and scroll game. Sort of misleading in it's ads or video introductory in steam. Not any bugs worth reporting other than when it gets busy, employees seem to "chase their tails". Fairly simple over all but there is no end game. You just keep leveling and blowing through points. Once you've filled the entire compound, the only other thing to figure out is efficiency. Which isn't really needed UNLESS you want to challenge yourself and see how much gold you can make at the end of the day, but again, not needed. So far, animals/pets seem to be the only help in collecting tips. You've been warned, they collect (I'm guessing) in order they were left. So instead of proximity collections (gathering the next closest tip) they will go across the entire compound, collect the tip, return to the other side of the compound, collect another, and so on. Quests will appear but get less exciting as they lose a sense of story, and develop more of a percentage increased goal. For example, You'll get a bandit that's threaten you, make a choice, and move on. Then you'll eventually just bleed out into goals that increase like number of people served, or items bought. Graphics: 4/10 Not going to "1" this like minecraft or anything but it's simple. Some thought went into it's art but not a lot. Just color changes and useless decor that does nothing for your inn. Nothing seriously pretty to look at. The customers and employees, seem to chat like The Sims. Just cheaper? Game time: 2/10 It doesn't take long to gain momentum in this little guy. The more you buy the more you make until you can't buy or upgrade anymore. Again not leaving you much for goal, or challenge but if you could take a PC/Laptop into a bathroom and play on the crapper, this is the game for you! After about day 120, you've pretty much got the board filled and half your stuff upgraded. Days take about 5 mins a pop on fast forward. THANK THE GODS FOR FAST FORWARD!!!! Upgrades: 2/10 Legit, so minimal. You get a few new foods to cook (automated) and maybe a couple of other room upgrades as well. For bedrooms you get a bed and an dresser. For baths you get a steam bath and a sauna thing. For game room you get a punching bag, skee-ball, and darts. Bars just upgrade pour speed and drink price but hardly get used, even thought they are used both as a bar and a proximity for tables served for drinks. You'll find your bartenders not working for your buck but you need 1 per bar. Overall: 6/10 It's a fun time killing game. You could play this beyond the boredom and challenge yourself to become a millionaire... but that's on you. At the point of obsession, I suggest seek help. I hope the game finds a way to better itself. I got this discounted through purchasing the supermarket sim, but I think for $5? it's not a bad price. I wish I would just get my gears grinding and make a game like this to have some extra pocket money... worth the play, yes. It's like playing a mobile game without ads. Once you're done playing though, it'll be a game you'll let collect dust until you delete it to make room for another simple boring game.

What to make of this game? I wish there would be a button for neutral reviews. The game is just fine, it works well and has okay-ish gameplay. It is just so plain and boring. Most of the time I started the day and then played another game while this game was running in the background. There is no gameplay somehow, just a tavern simulation running without any thrill or exciting events... But well, Achievements were easy to obtain by grind so I got this going for me.

i'm a bit mixed on this, if i could just a neutral option i would. Let me start by saying, it's a fun game for what it is, but it's not really "management" sure, there's economy but nothing that i would consider anything beyond spending money on upgrading. It's essentially a clicker game, which is fun if you want that. I did however, have more expectations for it. You'll probably get bored of it around 2.5-3 hours as you start doing the same things over and over.

This game has potential, with developers frequently adding new features. I unlocked all items (furnitures), and events, enjoying the experience overall, although the final hours felt repetitive. Events are engaging initially but lose impact once the tavern stabilises, especially with the cellar. Linked event chains, such as earning a tax reduction after a royal visit, could make gameplay more dynamic. Adding a story by allowing players (for example with upgraded waitresses) to eavesdrop on characters could enhance immersion. Perhaps, as a result of eavesdropping the player should be able to unlock new events. Overall, it’s a relaxing 5–8-hour experience with room to grow. The gameplay needs variety, just cleaning up and collecting tips get boring. Other tasks or casual mini-games, like boosting employee morale, would keep players engaged during quieter/stable moments.

I like the low energy "I'm still playing a game but I don't have to put too much into it" vibe this game gives. I enjoyed it for about 9 hours and then I got to a point where there was nothing left to unlock (as you stop unlocking things to buy at level 13 and stop being able to hire more staff once you reach 55 members) and it just became the same old thing every day in the inn. Good for a short while but really needs more unlockable content if you want to keep playing till level 50 to get the achievement. I bought it on special so i'm not really upset about only really having around 9 hours of gameplay so I still would recommend if it's on sale.
