There came a point in both games that I played through where I was at a point where I was satisfied with where the state of the inn was at. I was pulling way more money than I could possibly spend and my inn was massive. I just didn't feel like expanding just to spend the money. Great game, lots of fun but gets repetitive.

For a sale price at 5.99, it is a good game to spend a lazy weekend on. The primary issue is that by day 40, or maybe earlier, you can absolutely steamroll the game by creating 3x3 taverns packed with seating/bar/fireplace. The customer AI has no particular demands, so there is no reason to build anything at all except the highest rate of return space available. The customer happiness mechanic should have more variables... such as "There's not enough beds :(" or "I wish they had skee-ball!" Maybe the staff limit counters this, but at that point there's not really a big reason to play that far. By day 70 my inn makes 30k+ a day and I can max upgrade everything instantly. There' not enough aspects of decoration to justify anything other than min-maxing. Alot of the balance is off too. The steam room last upgrade is 12K gold, but the thing barely pays maybe 150 a day. Eventually with the permanent buffs from quests, things just get silly where I'm getting paid like 150 for a bed. Providing customer more options for food/drink breaks everything. If you have a kitchen with every food option, everything will instantly slow down because customers are ordering everything and it takes a long time to cook. So it ends up being better to simply pack a kitchen with Soups. Seems like theres many things like this with the balance of the game, I feel like i could list alot. Ultimately, I think people should appreciate it for what the game is -- which is a low cost game to play for ~4 hours and then move on. I'm looking forward to big updates!

Sometimes I just want to rest my mind and play without investing years into a game. Inn Tycoon is very relaxing and intuitive. A great choice for vacation since it's easy to put down and pick back up later.

Would I recommend this game? Yes the concept is fun and I personally loved the idea. However- and I am aware it is only early access still, This games would benefit GREATLY from more content and a lot more Balancing. Examples: - you get locked out at only 2 tavern pets but they can't keep up with the amount of tips the tavern provides. - you can only have 70 staff members which quickly stunts you from growing the tavern to the max. - once I got past 130 days my staff members kept glitching out and patrons would leave angry even though the waitress was at the table- glitched just not setting the food down. - points provided at level ups are not enough to get the items that you just unlocked for that level. this also means you have to choose to get new items or maybe level up staff. then the wait between points feels really long. I shouldn't feel bored having to wait to improve my tavern and staff. This is a very fun game and I really would love to see it grow more and for the better. It has such potential to be highly addicting, especially with all the happy jingle sounds of the money. (please make the angry customer sound effect something that can be turned off- it is soooo annoying sounding)

I beat it in about 7 hours. It has a couple of achievements like hit level 50 and spend 365 days in the game, but I finished it on about day 122 and don't feel like leaving the game run in the background just to get those other achievements. For now there is nothing else for me to do.
