theres a genre of these lil games comin out lately and its rad. theyre lil solo dota / starcraft games to me. easy to get into, not expensive. insect warm, hss: reload, gigantes ex machina, and this. its like a genre now. its bullet hell / topdown w mechs and stuff. bullestorm. steam doesnt even really have a category for these yet. they arent suggested on each others pages. you gotta go find em or something. but ya. i love this stuff. theres some other games like ultimate zombie defense, kinda similar but not mechs. i guess that came first. anyway i hope they make more games like this yo. lets get some sequels and stuff. i'll buy your $8 singleplayer dota games all day

The game feels somewhat limited in content with occasional random event variations. It includes a levelling system and solid survivor-style game play. However, it didn't quite resonate with me, as I already have my preferred games in this genre.
