Addictive, hilarious and cheap. I got it for $3.49 on sale, but it's no higher than like $5 when it isn't on sale at all. If you're looking for a simple, fun top-down shooter that has elements of deck building without being too high-risk-high-reward like most games in the same vein, I would say that this is the one for you. Mind that I only have 2 hours of playtime. It's one of those games where 2 hours is all you need to understand its quality.
Pretty fun and basic. Rogue-lite run-based isometric schmupping. It feels reminiscent of a simpler time when couch coop was king. Solid, competent, cheap. Decent difficulty options once you have played for 2 - 3 hours. Skipping upgrades nets you credits. ;) Don't worry about it
Bought this game for 3 other friends because its $4. We all just dropped 2 hours into it and cant wait to jump in again. How anyone who paid $4 for this game can leave anything but a positive review is mind boggling. This game is a great palette cleanser and a wildly inappropriate experience. Criminally underrated. There are a suspicious number of anatomically awkward shaped enemies but hey... I'm here for it.
I didn't like the game for months, gave multiplayer and singleplayer many chances and just couldn't have a "great" time despite my efforts. Wrote a review all about it, and my god does it seem they listened. Everything is fixed, fun, and well balanced with the latest update. Singleplayer seems to be just as viable of a playstyle as multiplayer, and its much easier to find matches now. The upgrades in game feel much more powerful, so you have a whole upgrade arc throughout the match. The overarching upgrade system feels like it properly rewards leveling up and completing quests/missions. Definitely an incredible value at only 5$!
