Title: Kingdom Rush Summary: Classic tower defense game Personal notes: Kingdom rush is a classic tower defense game that I loved growing up. Set in a cartoonish fantasy world, you must defend your kingdom from the countless waves of enemies by strategically placing towers along their paths in addition to having many powerful abilities. As I stated above, I loved this game and was honestly surprised with how well I feel this game has stood the test of time. The gameplay loop is super simple but very satisfying. Learning what towers/abilities to use where & when is a very rewarding albeight frustrating experience. You are also allowed to choose between three difficulties which is nice depending on how strategical you want to get. Visually this game has a cute cartoon style that isn't crazy in depth but has personality and a charm to it. The sound design is also pretty good, keeping things lighthearted and fun. I would also like to point out that on the PC (paid) version you get access to all the heroes, in comparision to when I played on mobile (free) version with limited access to heroes. All these heroes came with unique designs,sounds and abilities were really fun to explore and use. I would say the only drawback to this game which I feel many tower defense games struggle with is longterm retention. Despite having a lot of different strategical options, you are limited by how many levels the game itself has. Achievement-wise, a lot are story related or tower specific. The most difficult ones are the achievements surrounding completing all the levels on various difficulties. All things considered, I had a blast with this game back in my childhood and I had a blast playing it recently. Not to mention this game was the start of a magnificient series. I would easily recommend this game to any tower defense or strategy fan alike. Easily one of the best tower defense games out there! Time it took to complete: 27hrs Most difficult achievement(s): - Iron Defender (Complete all iron stages.) - Heroic Defender (Complete all heroic stages.) - Supreme Defender (Complete the campaign in veteran mode.) Kingdom Rush might be one of my favorite games of all time. The Steam edition coming with all heroes unlocked is a huge plus — no nonsense, just pure gameplay. It’s easy to jump into whenever you’ve got a bit of free time, but dangerously addictive once you start “just one more level.” The gameplay is simple on the surface, deep underneath, and endlessly satisfying. It’s fun, polished, and full of personality. Even my kid is into it — yelling “REINFORCE!”like it’s a battle cry never gets old. Memorable levels, great humor, timeless design. After hundreds of hours, it still holds up. Easy recommendation.

i used to play this game when i was a kid (like 6 idk) and i think i can say that it's easily stayed one of my fav games of all time. i can't remember how many times i've streamed the game to my friends while trying to ellaborate the perfect strategy with them. tbh my favorite one is the origin game but this one will forever hold a special space in my heart. i don't really care if it sounds cringe, i just know that this game is a small part of who i am and that i'm gonna do everything that's in my power to cherish this little part of myself haha. to whoever plays this game, i hope that you're gonna enjoy it as much as i enjoyed it when i was a kid and as much as i still enjoy it today. if you've read this far, thanks for your time and have a great day dear person. i know that this evaluation is not really objective but i wanted to speak with my "heart" if i can say it like that. ok bye

I remember being 12 years old, playing this game a decade ago in my computer lab at my local middle-school. The nostalgia alone is almost crippling. This is a solid game for any tower defense enjoyer, as is the whole series. Give it a chance, it will not disappoint. A classic! 10/10
