Pros: -Doesn't take itself too seriously -A quirky world to explore -Engaging story and side quests -Combines elements of visual novel and Zelda-like Cons: -Feels kind of low budget, with lots of empty space and limited character interactions. But the developers did a great job with finite resources.

Really fun, one of the most original games I've played :) The gameplay is really pleasant, it's not to hard to get all the achievements (though you do have to play around with the timeloop mechanic a bit), but for me the best part was the very lovable characters <3

This game had a lot of moving parts, and the novelty and dynamic nature of all the different side quests kept me invested enough to play to completion. I do love the feeling of completing a multi-step side quest! There are a lot of characters that are around, and none of them get all that deep; once you're done with them, you're pretty done with them. I found that I wasn't interested in studying the character information for anybody too thoroughly, but that information is there if you want to get more than a surface level feel for them. There is an appropriate number of mini games that are different enough from each other that you don't feel like everything is so monotonous. Additionally, the nods to both Ace Attorney and Shrek were very entertaining. I don't have much critique for the game outside of the fact I didn't use a handful of the functions -- but while I did not use them, I feel like some other folks would appreciate them more, like the character profiles, maps, and reminders of all the quests. I will say I do not read with intent (I typically jump in and just try to figure things out) so I didn't figure out that you can run around (by default using the shift key) instead of moseying at a walking pace until I had already gotten 60% through the game. That's my fault though ha.

Really loved this game. Had a nice soundtrack, funny story that was engaging and heartwarming at times. Usually I find stories in games boring and quickly lose interest but the humour was pretty good and it was worth a play. I got this on sale but it's a nice little developer and this game clearly had a lot of effort put in. It reminds me of Zelda Majora's Mask which it seems to take inspiration from. I don't want to give anything away, so basically I'd sum it up as "dude just trust me" it's good.
