Absolutely loved this game!! I 100% it in just under 4 hours, however one of the achievements didn't work but I saw that the team is working on it. Also: make sure to read the recipe descriptions for a wholesome story! Update: The achievement popped! The game play loop is very similar to creature kitchen, which is another game that I adore. I have been craving for another game like it and Little Chef definitely satisfied that brain itch. Highly recommend this for those that are looking for a cozy game to turn your brain off after work.
Summary: This game was a lot of fun and the creators are very creative. I had a lot of fun making a total mess! Would make mess again!~ (Only needed a bit of help here and there). Fast Achieves, easy controls. There's a demo! My Experience I really enjoyed the game. I got to try all kinds of different things and yes, I got stuck a lot, especially towards the end of each round when there's only a few things left to figure out. At times there were two of us and I was still stuck (someone sitting with me, helping). The cork screw threw me off big time. O.o There were 4 levels (plus one bonus one once done with the 4). I did not have sound on for this one for the most part so I'm not sure about sound quality. I liked this game and I am glad I got it. Also, there's a community hub with discussions/screenshots, etc. And, you can usually check to see how often they update their game, or when they updated it last under "view update history" on the right side of the game's store page. :D If I don't see it there, I often check announcements to see if they are updating and tending the game or just promoting something. I initially discovered the game on Itch.Io and fell in love immediately. Knowing it would be released on Steam made me so happy, and it was great to be able to follow the development from the beginning. It's a short game that, in my opinion, is worth buying. Congratulations to the developers! I honestly hope they change their minds about creating a DLC (my wallet hopes it's free, hahaha) that continues the story (I'm open to offering ideas and suggestions if necessary, hahaha).
Cute little game Good for killing a few hours Good variety of possible recipes; both regular recipies and "inedible"/fun recipies (eg. Heavy Metal). I had to look up a few of the recipes I was unfamiliar with, which was fun as I got to learn new things Would recommend going for 100% completion as there are a few smaller/more niche aspects that deserve to be explored
