I really like this one, and I'd say it's probably the strongest entry of Razzart's overall if you can stomach the subject matter. Love Ribbon is a romance story about two strangers meeting, slowly warming up to each other, and falling in love despite all the problems it causes. Also, they happen to be sisters. Whoops! Yeah, it's a rough ride, but to the game's credit, it handles the premise with care. It never strays into the realm of using incest as a fetish, nor does it pull its punches with the topic. It would have been easy to simply ignore the gravity of the topic like so many stories of its ilk do, or it could have bailed out on the premise at the final moment, yet it stays the course, and, in the process, it lets the characters be subjected to the consequences of their decisions and persevere in the face of adversity. It deserves to be said: the writing is great. Iris and Zoey are thoroughly enjoyable characters on their own, feeling very real, with understandable thought processes and motivations and making realistic decisions, but their chemistry is just electric. The relationship and romance between the two builds up organically, and once things get going in earnest, it really gets one hoping (right alongside the characters) that their incidental familial relation turns out to be less severe than it actually is. But, like any good rollercoaster, the ups inevitably come with some much more violent downs. On this front, the writing isn't completely perfect—a particularly irksome trope is the primary source of conflict near the end, raising its head twice in a single climax, somehow—but that really is the only criticism I can levy at it. Even then, the epilogue really does smooth out the kinks the ending has, wrapping things up in sublime fashion. I seriously don't think they could have put any neater a bow on the whole thing. The visuals are great, too. The character art is pleasant, there are some lightly animated cuts here and there that hit pretty well, and, of course, there are a small handful of spicy scenes that, in typical Razzart fashion, serve fantastic purpose as passionate and emotional high-points. The music was also surprisingly good for a VN, with some of the small transitional pieces in particular getting my attention. All in all, I suspect anybody with an eye for romance (and anyone who's enough of a perv to be civil about the incest) will find a heartfelt, caring, and thoroughly enjoyable time in Love Ribbon. It's well worth the price and the time it takes to read.

Reviewing (mostly) every game (or DLC) in my library, part 114: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ (8/10) Love Ribbon surprised me. It's a short, emotionally charged LGBT visual novel that dares to explore one of the most taboo romantic premises: two young women—Iris and Zoey—falling in love, only to discover they’re sisters. And somehow? It works. Not because the game is scandalous or edgy, but because it handles its premise with unexpected care, softness, and vulnerability. What could have been a shallow or exploitative story is instead a sincere exploration of identity, shame, and the blurry lines between love and societal norms. The game doesn’t push its message onto you; it lets you sit with the discomfort and decide for yourself. It’s a visual novel about guilt, identity, and the cost of loving someone you’re not “supposed” to love. Short, sweet, and braver than it looks, it's a gentle visual novel with a sharp emotional core. 💌 Pros: [*] Honest, emotionally grounded romance. Iris and Zoey’s dynamic starts off with tension and teasing, but gradually unfolds into something more delicate and sincere. Their chemistry is palpable, and the slow softening of Iris—her confusion, her guilt, and her longing—is genuinely affecting. [*] Polished art and presentation. The sprite work and CGs are clean, expressive, and nicely colored. The character designs are distinct and full of personality, and the backgrounds feel cozy. Even when the subject matter gets heavier, the art keeps things visually warm. [*] Gentle, atmospheric soundtrack. The music leans into soft piano and ambient tones, enhancing the VN’s emotional tone without ever overwhelming it. It’s the kind of soundtrack that lets you reflect rather than distract. [*] Thoughtful approach to a taboo subject. Instead of trying to justify or condemn the relationship, the game presents it as a complicated reality and allows the player to interpret it. The writing treats the characters with empathy, making it more about their emotional experience than the shock value. [*] Multiple endings add nuance. There are several different outcomes depending on your choices, including bittersweet or more tragic resolutions. The game doesn’t force a single moral stance and respects what you choose. 🌹 Cons: [*] Short runtime. You can finish the main story in 2–3 hours, which limits the amount of character and world development. Some scenes (especially toward the ending) could have used more time to breathe. [*] Writing occasionally slips into cliché. While much of the emotional content is strong, a few moments feel a bit tropey or underwritten. Iris’ monologues in particular sometimes repeat the same internal conflict without progressing much. [*] Premise will be too much for some players. Even though the game handles the sister/sister relationship with surprising sensitivity, it’s still a hard sell. Some will find the topic too uncomfortable, and that’s valid, as well.

Gay gay gay homosecsual incest , this is how i can describe this game ? is it good - yes . should you play it ? - why not (and for people who is concerned about incest , the only bad effect incest does to people besides the public shame is that their kids have higher chance to born with some physical diseases , they are gay so it wont happen anyway so u can relax and enjoy the story) 7 lemons out of 10 limes

This story is really sweet and there's a good amount of effort put into it. If you can get passed the obvious elephant in the room about WHY it's a taboo relationship, you'll see something that's genuinely sweet the whole way through. The forbidden part of it wasn't vulgar or done as a kink, it was a legitimate conflict in the story. If you removed that aspect of it then the whole story couldn't have existed, like in a regular lesbian relationship. I don't really like graphic novels but this was really enjoyable and wholesome. I got the "Together" ending and was stressing at certain parts on the journey there. I hope to find more things like this. It only need more choices. 9.5/10
