April 2025
The game presents the events that take place after the missiles were fired at the Botanical Garden by stalkers. The player once again takes on the role of Artyom, a chosen one from the VDNKh station, who was accepted into the elite Spartan Order. His old friend Khan informs Colonel Miller that he has noticed a surviving Shadow in the remains of the Botanical Garden. Miller orders Artyom to eliminate him. He goes there as bait. The colonel's daughter, Anna, is to carry out the assassination. Unfortunately, the mission fails and, due to many coincidences, the hero sets off in pursuit of the last of the Shadows. Along the way, he discovers the criminal plans of a very ambitious general from the Red Line and must stop the approaching Great War of the last remnants of humanity at all costs. ✅ The atmosphere is perfect, gloomy and scary ✅ A lot of weapons to modify ✅ An engaging story ✅ Omnipresent darkness ✅ Good graphics ✅ Reflection on war, suffering and how people are able to cope ✅ Difficulty levels ✅ Nicely realized stealth stages ✅ Two types of enemies ✅ DLC + 9 additional missions (Sniper Squad, Kshatriya, Heavy Squad, Tower, Spider Nest, Creator, Pawel, Chan, Anna ✅ Two endings (The good ending is very hard to achieve) ✅ Great sound ✅ Economy (saving ammo = because it's currency ✅ Intriguing characters ✅ Two ways to complete some missions (killing silently or loudly) ✅ I didn't notice any bugs ✅❌ Linear style of play that limits exploration of the world ❌Limited number of options related to graphics settings ❌The good ending should be easier to achieve

The horrors of the Metro games do not lie in the tunnels, where the Nosalises and Spiderbugs rule. Neither is it found in the people who menace the system, or the damp claustrophobia of a corpse-filled sewer. The real horror is when you step outside. Your Geiger Counter clicks away and your health drops. A Demon flies overhead, and you desperately suck in the last of your filtered air. You scramble for the safety of the dark tunnels, only to find yourself in a barren nuclear wasteland. The shadows of its inhabitants dance as your dimming lantern guides you through a rotten vision of our future.
