I appreciate this game for doing something unique. The English translation isn't great at times and certain endings/achievements can be really esoteric to get, but I think the non-achievement-hunting fun and novelty (and cheap price) more than make up for it. My only real gripe is that there's something you have to do in the tutorial level that's never used again, which is a bit of a let-down, but oh well. Give it a try if it seems interesting!
This is a really very interesting puzzle game, the design is imaginative, somewhere between a text adventure and a point-and-click. The minimalism of the visuals, as well as their 'glitching' nature gives this an intriguing and quite creepy feel. One small thing is that I feel like I'm getting more out of it by using Steam Guides. Perhaps the endings could have small clues, e.g. "Break the seal" or "Return the child" (etc), to give me at least some idea of what I'm doing, otherwise it really is baffling and could take many hours of continuous replaying to work out.
The game concept is interesting, there is a lot of content and levels. It is just poorly designed, giving either too much information at once, confusing at times (maybe because the original language apparently is not english, and the translation feels weird?), or not enough to reach certain endings. If there is a change to the way the clues are given, and sometimes to the clues themselves, then the game will be more fun to play. When I began playing it I was quite excited, but got pretty bored after trying several times same level to have a different outcome (I got only 4 out of the 7 endings on this one) and not succeeding. Then I played some of the others which are way longer, getting even less endings. After a while I was not interested anymore in reading new clues and just wanted to fully open up the paths to see what could be done or not. Some things I think could be changed: - Give an introduction to each level. When the level begins you have no idea of what is going on or what you are supposed to do. An introduction to the main story might create the attention and interest in going further to solve puzzles and reaching different endings. - Place only a few clues per time. When getting a paper that is added to the notebook sometimes there are 3 or 4 different clues. I feel it is too much, and it gives a sense of feeling lost on what to do first and how. - Add more info on the tutorial. Some things are intuitive, but others are not, like the red marks around some places (which I still don't understand how do they work). I recommend the game because the idea is good, and I can see the effort of the creator. It just needs improvements on the development. Or maybe I just don't have enough patience to read long texts.
