Cool little mon game. It's entertaining and fun to 100%. It's not super deep, though. Plays great on the Deck as well.

Despite this game being an obvious nod off to Pokemon this game finds a way to actually be very fun and unique I really love the game and once I beat it definitely getting Nexomon Extinction! Another thing is the dialogue for the characters you come across is very comedic and a lot of personality was made for these characters so it’s extremely refreshing to see that!

If you like the older Pokemon-Games, you will like this game, because it definitly is quite similar It has more focus on the story and finds a good balance between telling said story but also not taking itself to seriously It misses some QOL features newer games of the genre have, but it still is quite fun to play. Searching for the Mega-Rare Nexomon was especially fun, all of them are also great design-wise What annoyed me a bit is this trope to win the battle and then lose in the cutscene. This game pulled that MULTIPLE TIMES with the Champions

Nexomon, what is basically Pokemon. It was pretty fun not gonna lie. The Nexomon's are kinda forgetable, but a few are not (Looking at you Carnagrius). The gameplay well, it's what the older Pokemon games are like top-down view, you fight and catch Nexomon, you fight trainers and bad peeps, as you progress through the game, pretty simplistic. And as most people who played these type of games, I did not use any "Power-up" moves that would raise your ATK or DEF or whatever. 99% of the time you just 1-shot nexomon if you properly train them. I did like the story, the story was fun with a nice plot twist at the end, I liked Atlas the robot, he was a fun character. What I did not like was the more then needed 4th wall breaking, where there are mentions that this is a "mobile game", Once or twice is funny and all, but it gets repetitive once you hear it more. Achievement-wise it's pretty simple, just a bit grindy to get all the 310 Nexomon. Overall 8.5/10
