yes i do reccomend the game since it's really good in my oppinion, but i got locked in a moment of the game cause i need to go to "the laberynth" and i am just unable, i don't know if it's a location i've been in already and i haven't gotten the teleport, but i just cannot progress the game and that's why i don't play at all since so long now, but it is a goodd game i have to admit
₊˚⊹♡ First impression is deceiving ♡⊹˚₊ This is not a "low budget copy carbon poor controls generic 2-6hr indie game", it is a full-featured classic with 30-60hrs of very high quality content , and the author's 6 years (and 3 of them were free post-release ones) worth of work in balancing & polishing this jewel of game into one of the best original games made in recent years. .⋆❀ Original, and the best at being itself ❀⋆. The game is not trying at all to be say "the best metroidvania" or "the best kawaii/horror sequel/platformer" game, it is instead an unique & refreshing original combination of gameplay, story, essence & style that can't be separated from each other. ˙⋆✮ It includes plenty of unique content & story/game integration ✮⋆˙ Nyaruru is controlled very comfortable like the floaty soft character she looks like, with amazing mobility & attack; however to avoid to overwhelm it is all unlocked gradually; which follows the story's pacing moving from simple goofiness into a more heart moving & impressive tale, that despite that, remains true to its soul; which gets properly scenified through 16 unique stages & 18 unique boss fights, all with exclusive enemies (0 clones!), soundtracks (0 repeated!), gimmnicks, design styles and even pacing and mood shifts, all merged fluidly with an artstyle that starts simple but shows so much cuteness & impressive pixel art skills the more you dwell. ˚.⋆꒰১ Guided freedom at its best ໒꒱⋆.˚ The game features 3 difficutly levels which have been adjusted through the years for a 0 fake diffuclty, high rewarding experience tailored to the needs of each one; freedom and flexibility in allowing players to pace themselves as they fit and prefer; all that helps you see all the characters are surprising deep & charming while avoiding to use too many dialogues (and avoiding to say the obvious at each time); with a nice mixture of soft horror, coolness, cuteness and well thought plot & fun goofiness (all incorporated into the gameplay perfectly, to add.) ₊✩‧₊˚౨ Closing remarks ৎ˚₊✩‧₊ Due its interwined nature of elements, it is not for everyone, but at least it was for me, and became very easily one of my favorite games. If you want a very polished and very comfortable to control game, with plenty of content, with a very cute but deeper experience, with no shortage of high quality refreshing & unique charm, I am sure you will love it too!
Honestly, it was a pain to play, especially after the Frozen Plateau, game also have many bugs, mostly because the game was made with RPG Maker MZ, and it's amazing that's even possible, it just shows that if developer has passion and skills then developer can do anything even in a broken engine to create their game. The main thing I like about the gameplay is the character movement, it's incredibly fun and satisfying to explore the world when the movement is so wonderful. But the gameplay isn't the main reason I can like or dislike a game, I pay attention to everything but the gameplay, and this game surprised me in every way. The art style is simply stunning, I might even have seen this artist's drawings on art sites before. All the characters look incredibly cute and beautiful, and you instantly fall in love with each of them from the very first seconds. The music is awesome, I never expected something so powerful, many of the songs are perfect for battles, calm atmosphere ones are also great for bosses and the world exploration, especially towards the end of the game. Game builds a perfect atmosphere for each boss battle through music. The world is very simple. The world design is decent, and the platforming is well made, especially with given character movement. The plot is surprising, not great, but surprising, especially towards the end of the game, when everything quickly changes in atmosphere. It was honestly painful for me to think about how hard it was for Lily closer to the very end of the game... if you want a challenge that is not too much and you don't care it can be sometimes bugged, then you can play it without a doubt. If you are interested in the world and story, if art style or music really caught your attention, but you dislike games with similar gameplay, then you can play it as well, the gameplay never ruins the emotions and feelings that art can give, the game is short, and you will never get bored!
