One Way Heroics is REALLY GREAT. Gameplay - 10/10 - It's a fun dungeon crawler that takes elements from the mystery dungeon series of games, but instead of moving up/down floors, you are constantly running east to escape the encroaching 'darkness. I'm personally biased towards JRPGs and dungeon crawlers so this game is right up my ally. Graphics - 6/10 - I love the in-game sprites, but I have mixed feelings about the character portraits and general artwork. A part of me thinks that the portraits looks really crusty, but another part of me thinks that it really suits this game's atmosphere. Soundtrack - 10/10 - The music caught me completely off-guard. There are a lot of different endings to unlock and the soundtrack makes each one feel like a proper, emotional farewell after a long journey. There's a decent amount of BGMs to discover and they're all really nice. Achievement Hunting - 6/10 - DLC is required for 100%. This isn't that big of a problem since the DLC is relatively cheap, but it's a hassle to find information on some of these achievements. This game is fun, but some of the epilogue-related achievements can feel very tedious to obtain. If you like dungeon crawlers and rogue-lite games, then this one is a must-have.

I have no idea why I havent posted a review yet... Absolute banger of a game. the mechanics are simple but there is so much depth, a lot more endings than I thought it would have. Some of the music really fits the fantasy like theme. all the characters are really fun to play with, there is a semi-multiplayer integration where they can turn into ghost and help you on your journey... 9/10

This was fun! It's absolutely a steal for it's price especially since I got it for 1 buck 50. I did only clear it once so I'll probably keep playing but even if I don't, would recommend. Also since it seems in the spirit UM1ADYWJ.

One of the best rougelikes I've ever played and despite the really simple concept of you can only travel to the right, has incredible replay value The gameplay reminds me of the pokemon mystery dungeon games but better, this is hands down one of the most memorable rougelikes full of so much charm and fun Its extremely upsetting we didnt get more games like it or sequels. (Mystery chronicles one way heroics is NOT a true sequel and runs terribly compared to this game, avoid it no matter how much you desire more of this game)
