Okay, so I've got 220 hrs on steam and countless more on mobile. I'm now (kinda) consistently ascending with the amulet AND I've gotten the Doom Slayer badge. Will this make me feel like I've mastered the game? Hell naw. I don't know what it is about this game that I just can't put it down. It's so simple, yet so addictive and replayable. I love Shattered PD, thank you for taking care of the game as well as you do, devs! OH! And the artworks between levels are so awesome! I truly commend the person behind them, I love them so much.

So this game is free on android. I started by playing the original Pixel Dungeon many, many years ago. This game (shattered pixel dungeon) is a mod that some guy continued development on and is still updating regularly. Most of my time is on the phone version as I don't really see a point in playing it on steam. I only bought it here to give the dev some money for how many hours I've put into the game and so I could review it here. it's extremely hard. It took me years to beat it for the first time. I've beaten it several times now but I made a point to not look things up about the game as well, just figure it out on my own. It is by far the best phone game I've ever played and it deserves extremely high praise. If you like roguelike/roguelite games, it is a must. it's easy to pick up and die a hundred times and still have fun but to master takes a lot of time. One of the few 10/10 games I've played.

I honestly only purchased this game on Steam to help fund the developer. I have over 600 hours played on my Android. This version of Pixel Dungeon has been my favorite for so many years, and the fact that the dev behind it puts out new content pretty regularly has only been a plus to that.
