Dungeon Crawler. One dev, expect bugs and unbalanced content. The grind feels rewarding, compelling players to keep on grinding. No microtransactions. The combat, which is what you will be doing most of the time, is fun. Your choices in what to wear and which weapons and skills to use matter greatly, and you feel the impact of your choices in combat. I particularly enjoy how easy and simple it is to change secondary effects on powerful items, in case you want to do that. It Makes many more drops useful, because just having an item of a high rarity is already valuable since you can change the enchants however you like. Updates happen, but don't expect a huge mechanical overhaul overnight if you're hoping something changes for the better.

Great top down experience. Classes do not play out the same and split screen co-op is just fun as hell. The unlocks are spread across a large array of effects, ranging from new classes to pets and the regular stats and skills upgrade. The monster cast is also something to look for (no spoiler). This is a no brainer imho.
