Peaceful puzzle game with beautiful scenery art. I've played roki about 4 times now; first time being on the switch. I later played it again on my laptop and now finally steam, attempting to get all the achievements. I loved Roki's story and the soundtrack fit perfectly for an emotional yet ethereal game.

A fun point and click with a cool art direction and interesting aesthetic. Overall it's decently fair, but there are a couple sections that either break it's logical conventions (for example, one "puzzle" requires you talk to an NPC, instead of use an item on something like every other puzzle in the game) or just devolve into straight pixel hunts (the wolf dream sequence is the absolute worst at this). This makes parts of the game into just clicking on literally everything to see what happens, which doesn't feel particularly clever. Overall, despite those minor gripes, I enjoyed it enough. It took me about 8 hours to beat it, taking my time the entire way, but i won't lie it's a little inflated due to the incredibly slow animations and copious amounts of backtracking. I didn't find it too bad, I mean backtracking and slow pace is kind of a thing in point and clicks so it's not tooooo shocking. Also didn't encounter any major bugs. The only issue I had was a duplicate item, but it didn't matter much since the puzzle it was for was pretty obvious

Story-rich puzzle adventure with traditional point-and-click mechanics, set in a world of Norse mythology and folklore. Sometimes, there's a bit too much walking back and forth to solve a puzzle, but it might just be me:) Be aware that the game touches on quite heavy subjects, such as death, loss, trauma, guilt, grief, etc. PS Tomte!

Visually beautiful, compelling, moving. Exploring was a delight & the world felt real. The puzzles were fun brain teasers and felt very satisfying to solve. I grew to love the characters very much & would love to see more from them one day. Plays wonderfully on Steam deck.

A really fun and heartfelt puzzle action adventure game! Puzzles weren't to obtuse and all led to each other easily. All 'action' sequences weren't stressful and could be taken at your pace and you weren't rushed. Story was very moving and ended nicely. Controls where nice and easy and could be done by a younger player. Bought on a sale, but would have bought full price.
