Living with my Little Sister After getting 100% achievements, it's time to give a review. This review contains "Spoilers" arn't much of a spoiler, btw It's a small and simple game, easy to understand what to do. There isn't much to say about this game. What you see is what you get. The title is the main spoiler in a way. There isn't much to do here (work, speak with your sister, sleep, and repeat up to 30 days. NOW... when it comes to (Patch v1.1), you get 80% more content added to the game, which makes the game go from a 4 to an 8 right away. Way more content and stuff to do, and more to buy from the shop that you need if you want 100% achievement, can't get it without the patch. (Overall) Would I recommend this game to you? - (Sure, why not?) + The Positive Part: Simple, manga-style, incredibly beautiful girl, and a secret patch (Which is highly recommended get before playing) - The Negative Part: Almost no dialogue, one room only, and almost no decisions (Or) Options. You live alone, and all of a sudden, there is a beautiful girl in your bed... Is it really anything else to wish for? (Two of them, maybe)
Do NOT confuse this game with Monochrome Fantasy. You are looking at a game that has a fraction of the content (for a fraction of the price). What you'll find in this game is a little sister who decides to sleep over for 30 days. Emphasis on sleep . The only objective is to enjoy your time with her. There's no need to rush objectives or whatever; the outcome is the same once you get to the end of the 30 days, and then you can do whatever you want in Free Mode, with more freedom (unlimited time, toggles, some "cheat" functionality). There's a difficulty option but it only serves freaks (like me) who think micromanaging actions to prevent meters from filling up all the way is stimulating. As far as the little-sister-cohabitation genre goes, this is about as minimal as it gets. You very likely will not find a game with the premise "spend your days getting closer to your sister" that manages to have less content than this. The "30 days" that this game offers you is mainly a formality, and spacing out this game over a long, repetitive period simply lets you experience it in small pieces, starting with a small number of available actions and ending with the full range of options. I do recommend this game if you enjoy this art style, enjoy the nighttime gameplay, and are okay with less content. If you play any of the developer's other games, you'll realize they're pretty much all the same, but the formula works as long as the price is reasonable and the girls are cute.
Let's throw a few things out before we start. 1. There are no music. The entire game is silent except for a few soundbites. 2. There are no voice acting for both the siblings. 3. The only sounds are the sounds made when she is wet ( You get what I mean.) and when the brother is c**ming. 4. There are no consequences for your actions in the game. Considering the fact that you can impregnate her. 5. There is only 1 ending to the game. No matter what you do. 6. You need a free patch from an external site if you want R-18 content. 7.STEAM.REALLY?!!....I bought this game at full price and literally an hour later, this game goes into sale. A lot of people compared this game to monochrome and in truth, I also brought this game after playing monochrome. I also agreed with them that the game is lacking a lot of animations and choice paths when compared with monochrome. Especially when considering it's price. You play as a illustrator whose younger sister (Was never told the reasons but I assume) ran away from home and freeloads at your home for a month. The game is very simple. It is divided in to 2 segments. Day and night. Actions available during the day Work at the PC to earn money to buy stuffs in the shop. Chat with your sister to gain trust.(later game , affections as well.) Pat her head after she offers to cook meals. Take a bath after dinner Eavesdrop on your sister when she goes to the bathroom Go to bed at 10 PM but can stay up till latest 3 AM. Actions available during the night(After 10 PM if you choose to go to bed.) Sleep.(Do nothing to your sister.) Grope.(Hot stuffs with your sister.) Any and all actions done to your sister during the night gains you experience that makes it easier for you to raise her pleasure meter as time goes by. Actions you can do to her are tied to your morality which goes down daily,regardless of what you do. The lower it gets, the more depraved stuffs you can do to her. There are no consequences for your actions. She doesn't wake up when the alert meter is full.Instead,it locks you out of any actions until the meter is cleared. You can do naughty stuffs to her immediately after 10 PM when you choose to go to bed and you have until 3 AM so that's 5 hrs worth of quality time with your sister,but there are penalties for staying up too late. At 2 Am,you will wake up with your stamina recovery half. At 3 Am,you will also oversleep and wake up an hour later. After upgrading the bed,she will sometimes take a nap during the day where you also do naughty stuffs to her,but it is much more limited. Things I wished the Devs would add to this game. She would wake up during the night when the alert meter is full and depending on her trust and affections,will have different reactions. Depending on her trust and affections, to have actions available with her during the day. Be able to interact with her during bath time and when she goes to the bathroom Have more positions during the night. Have more endings depending on your actions and her trust and affections. Depending on trust and affections,have consequences for impregnating her. Overall, this game has it's allure in it's simplicity but too simple makes it look like it has barely any features. It has no music and barely any sounds so playing it is quite monotonous and boring. There is only 1 ending regardless of what you did where she just decided to go home so it makes you wonder why you even try doing any of the stuffs you did.Despite all that,I would still recommend this game because there aren't a lot of games in this genre and steam are forced to remove most of them by payment possessors. This game isn't expensive but i would recommend buying it when it's on sale.
TLDR: if you're getting this, make sure you go the the dev's website and download the patch, as without it the game is literally just a COVID Work From Home (WFH) simulator with absolutely no point beyond a headpat sequence. personally this feels like a bit of a cash grab coming off the surprising success of "Living With Sister: Monochrome Fantasy" (even the titles are a close match), but I want to believe that the devs of this game just really liked the black and white aesthetic of the aforementioned game and tried to make something similar on a smaller scale. the game quite literally revolves around you just managing a stamina bar while trying to earn money to buy "upgrades" (only one of which actually helps with earning money), while juggling attempts at trying to get the hanky panky with your little sister while she's unconscious, all while trying to maintain a decent sleep schedule. It's not gonna be everybody's cup of tea, but if this is your thing, the game achieves enough with its scale, as it's also quite reminiscent of older flash games which share similar mechanics of juggling an "Alertness" bar with an "Arousal" bar. They integrate your sister's "Trust" and "Affection" (TnA) with the spicy sequences, which I'm genuinely surprised about since it gives you incentive to interact with her outside of the times she's passed out. Much of the early part of the game is toiling away at your WFH job, working on NSFW commissions and earning between inhumane and livable wages. The latter half is trying to condition your sister's body into "accepting" you, while increasing her TnA to better your odds during the spicy sequences. Accompanying this is a "Status" sheet which shows how far you've desecrated your sister's body, showing details such as how much you've groped her, licked her, how much nut you've dumped inside her, among other things, all while featuring a progressing body shot of your sister which gets lewder based on how far you've gone. You could always just run something like CheatEngine and stall the values to 0 and be the equivalent of a lovemaking god, but I believe there is some merit to working towards the nut, especially with these types of games. For those who care, this game runs perfectly on the Steam Deck. The text for the little sister's dialogue sometimes clips outside its speech bubble, but I've noticed it also does the same thing on my Windows desktop, so I guess that's just a textbox placement issue since I'm 100% sure this game was originally made with JP fonts in mind. Mouse cursor is also offset a bit downwards so the click detection is a bit above the actual pointer, just in case. 7/10. Personally, it's hard to recommend games like this where the main selling point is to do the nasty, but the game is both a) in need of a patch which requires external sources, and b) quite bland beyond the initial mechanics presented. I only really bought this game because the art style was my type, but I can definitely see people not really vibing with the gameplay (or maybe I'm just showing my age with how accepting I am of these types). Maybe get it on a sale if you want a nice, comfy nut.
For a price of less than $3 USD in my country. I can thoroughly recommend this game. It's cheaper than buying doujin and (cheap) rpg maker games, short (around 3 hours-ish), and has some lewd CGI and description. It has similar gameplay to Living With Sister: Monochrome Fantasy (ofc you can see where the inspiration came from), but it doesn't have the similar complexity and replayability.
