Very early access. There's some potential here, but game still needs a lot of work and balancing. Maps are a bit bland and empty, vehicles have no weight to them, I know, rc and all, but realism isn't always that fun. Progression is not very rewarding. Devs should add more content, and start unlocking stuff after every race to keep folks hooked. UI is a little buggy, cameras in game are sucky (free control and better sensitivity settings would be welcome), controller works but again, lacking those sensitivity settings. I'll give it a thumbs up because of the $4 heavy discount price tag. This could turn into something fun eventually. More content & more satisfying progression please :)
If we are comparing this game to High Voltage since they came out roughly 2 weeks apart and have similar names, this is the better game, IMHO. I tried High Voltage, but refunded it. It was too much luck of the draw if your car is going to flip when you hit a jump, even if you hit the jump squarely. Felt a bit like Angry Birds, just send it and hope for the best. If people like that better, more power to them. They have a right to their opinion. This game is more playable, more fun to race. Yes it's a bit more expensive and a bigger download, but the $20 price tag is fair for an Early Access game. There is still a lot of work to be done to get the game to full release, but the racing is fun, the tracks seem realistic to me for the most part and I like the handling of the cars for an RC game. The negative reviews seem very biased towards High Voltage. I have no idea why, but what I do know is I just like this game better.
fun simple game. but feels as if lacking atm. would love to see more options and customization such as different types of tires, brush/brushless motors with different rpms/torque(instead of just parts basically being 1-7), different compatibility options or issues with esc, fans, and battery/volts and the ability to customize/change suspensions. Maybe the option to add or remove lights to bodies, and of course more bodies/shells. a damage system could be interesting to feature. Maybe a drag race mode where you can race different vehicles and test different setups with different parts. although enjoyable everything still feels very limited at the moment. i cant fully recommend it as of now but i look forward to seeing the progress.
