It takes you for a spin.... it can lul a bit, but if you play casually and dont invest too much on the result, it's pretty fun for a run or two at a time. It can feel extremely RNG, you end up picking up some strategies along the way, but RNG it's still there heavily influencing if the run will be successful or not (some key upgrades and upgrade order make all the impact)

A game where I really wish there was a "middle" option in reviews. This is a fun, beautifully created puzzle/maths roguelike with some great mechanics, hard to master gameplay and amazing soundtrack. I got about 30 hours of satisfying play out of it, trying to find new combinations and complete challenges etc. BUT. If a game is very challenging, and requires a lot of luck with the RNG and careful set up for over an hour to try and create a winning run, it simply HAS to get the code right. Unfortunately, somewhere in the late game it's clear there's a bug (at least one) whereby something which should stay constant (the cost of an upgrade to your "character") rapidly increases for no good reason, and you end up in a failed game, contrary to what should happen based on the stated mechanics in the game and on the forums. This has happened repeatably and provably. To their credit, the developer quickly responded to the bug report but didn't seem to have much idea what could be causing it, despite a detailed description of what had happened. I hope it's tracked down and fixed, but I get the feeling it won't be and I won't be playing now that it has been identified - a puzzle game that "cheats" on you in the late game just isn't worth the time sink. A shame as it was a blast trying to figure out how to break things - like all good games of this genre, it actively encourages you to do that. So by all means buy this if you want a real challenge, chilled music, interesting art, and a great premise - and you don't mind waiting for a bug fix if you happen to pick the same combo strategies I did which seem to have the bug in them.

Pretty satisfying and had a good time playing it, but I don't expect to have the urge to play it more in the future.

I just finished the last trial. It was a absolute journey. This game is truly S tier. This game offers what it is perfectly. Its a game about rolling dice, failing and then being better next time. There is two ways to play the game, the normal way includes different difficulties and have some replayability, but not that much. The other is trials that came in a huge update. I bought the game when it came out and already thought I got my bang for my buck, I even got on the leaderboard once. But now with the update, it is so much fun. Trials are really challenging and even more rewarding. It feels perfectly challenging, so not stupendously hard and it is pretty long. Now when I have finished trials, I am going for 100% the game. Thanks for the game daVinchy
