Cute gem thats honestly funner than D4 Season 10. I love the pirateness of this game and it does have many combos for how you deal damage. Its 4$. You cant go wrong here. Its the best value on steam right now. Powder is kind of your mana and rum is health. I do have some help for the 1 man dev. Hope he sees this and comments. Top 5 Things the game could use: 1] Endgame. Arena is cool and all but man if you had really expanded here and gave us many things to do then I could see you really making a dent in ARPG market. 2] Storage is woefully short. I need about 10 more boxes. Moving items is weird as the game moves the box slightly while dragging and cursor in the way. 3] Better in game info. I have no idea what saturation does for example. 4] More Gold sinks. Not much to do with gold when you have character all respeced decent. 5] Tags on things. I have no idea what a spell is. I put points in spell damage and volley on my soulstaff does not update in tooltip damage. Would be nice if everything had a tag like SPELL, PROJECTILE, FIRE, MELEE. WINDUP, ect. This helps when choosing passives. GREAT JOB OVERALL THOUGH FOR JUST 1 GUY!

Funny and charming (not so) little indie game. I am quite surprised by the size of the game, I thought I would be done after like 6 hours or so but that is not the case, I am not even half way through. That is why I stopped playing, I just feel like that I have had enough of the gameplay and do not want to spend another 12 hours to beat it. The game itself is fun, but I do net really like any of the runes/spells I have seen so far. I feel like the whole rune system does not really work that well and is honestly not worth the trouble. The game lacks a manual as well, there are ingame tutorial prompts that help, but there are still some things left unexplained, like how do I sacrifice runes to increase the arena progression speed. What is the difference between a spell and a rune? For a one man project, this game is really impressive. The price is insane as well, absolutely worth it. If I had less other games to play I probably would have finished it. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Game is great fun, polished, has multiplayer and made by one person by themselves believe it or not. I bought it for me and my ex-gf to play together and we had tons of fun before she passed away in march and out of all the pirate loot in this game the real treasure was the time spent playing it while laughing, flirting and making pirate booty jokes with her. 10/10. Whether you wanna sail solo, play with a hearty crew of friends or be like us and make your time a treasure for two i highly recommend this and its cheap too! 5 dollars. Practically feels like piracy! Yarharharhaar!

Pretty unique arpg game. Simple to understand and the combat is pretty straightforward, but it's fun. It's cool that it's a game made by one dev. Cool stuff. The campaign is lengthy and well done. The reload mechanics are a bit draining to be honest. I would have liked quicker reload speed for many weapons even without utilizing the "perfect" manual timing. It was a bit of a struggle the first two acts because of this. But once you get the Repeater gun or even better - the Hive one, then this issue becomes minimal. It's a perfect game for 1 playthrough and a bit of farming in the infinite treasure hunt thingy is fun too. The ship combat and movement are janky, the animations are stuttery there. But overall the game is really unique and well made for what it is. Genuinely enjoyed it. For such price - it's just awesome. It felt like a game from 20 years ago, but in a good way.
