If you've played Street Fighter's 30th anniversary collection, this is very much the same. It's an okay way of legally playing the games if it's on sale. Having SSVP is a big plus if you're a big fan.

classic neo geo action. I didnt even know there was a 4 and 5. I love classic games like this on my steam deck bc I usually play my big-boy games at home (i.e. BG3, starfield, shooters, etc) since they require a bit more focus and Id rather keep "easy to play" stuff on my deck. Aside from that, I was today years old when I realized HOW TECHNICAL this game is. whereas todays games will punish you with endless MASTER LEVEL combos, the AI focuses on pacing and actually using their strengths with little noticeable cheese. I.E. one warrior heavily relies on his sword throwing move, which leaves him without a weapon so naturally he runs to his weapon immediately - leaving him open. I just wanted this to pass time and 100% casually, instead I found a fun game from my childhood that actually treats each fight as a puzzle of sorts in trying to suss out each characters strength, patterns and weaknesses. If you're into that, then this is an easy buy. Cool feature is you can save at anytime during a match if say you're in line somewhere or you want to finish a characters story later. After this, im gonna check out the newer releases to see if what I like form this game is there, and maybe other classic neo geo collections like this, bc man. They're timeless.
