Even with the servers only being in China, it worked better than expected. We got disconnected 3x after finishing Chapter 1, though I think that was a bug rather than server-related. Playing a Chinese horror puzzle game without being able to understand any Chinese is an experience in itself. We got pretty far without getting stuck, and only had to look up one puzzle because it required reading five different Chinese texts, which was obviously impossible for us. I hope in the future we can replay it with a proper English translation.
Great for the price. Nice setting, fun co-op puzzles, and a nice balance between the scary and the puzzles. But at times, we cannot understand things because we don't know what the other person is looking at, and describing it can be tough. Also, the ending felt a bit out of nowhere, and too many cut-scenes. I the puzzle aspects are what was strong, but the story was a bit annoying at the end.
Fun and immersive game with interesting co-op elements however I hope that in the future they can add English localisation as my girlfriend needed to translate a lot for me. However, the unknown element of a second language added to the ominous elements and horror atmosphere.
