Very good game. Interesting and unique puzzles that keep you engaged and thinking. I love that there is a slight horror element that keeps you on your toes and gets a small little gasp out of you while you play. Played it with a friend and i had a great time. Would recommend. :)
It surprised me how good this game was. Just from looking at the store page, I was under the impression this was going to be a very generic game, but my duo really wanted to check it out, and given how dirt cheap the game is - we went ahead. Right away, the game doesn't really bother explaining things too much, so don't count on little tips here and there to handhold you as you discover the world. That said, certain puzzles had us a little stomped, but at no point did they feel unfair or completely incomprehensible, no - it just meant we needed to look harder, think outside the box, go over the information at hand, try something different, or we simply miscommunicated. It can be a little hard at some points, but they are very good puzzles and the moments when it finally clicks feel extremely satisfying. This game is also of course revolving around horror a little more than your usual puzzle game, and I also have to commend the atmosphere and the scares. It definitely has a vision and it goes for a specific angle, if that makes sense. I really enjoyed how certain scares would only affect one player, but not the other. The game did a very good job at making the environments interesting too. Also big points for a very forgiving checkpoint system for certain platforming puzzles, these are sure to help a lot of people who just aren't very good at platforming to still complete them and avoid frustration, while still providing the same challenge. This was so much fun that by the time we reached the end of the game, I was left with a feeling I wanted more of it. I will also give huge props for the ability to select a scene so easily as well, which came in clutch after I got disconnected (issues with ISP unrelated to the game) and connecting back was just so easy. I also found it hilarious how the game casually introduced a certain funny mechanic in secret from the other player - it was just too funny hearing them react to it, and knowing they have no idea, I was just sitting there with my radio on silent, laughing like a little gremlin when my friend panicked in confusion. One small issue we've had was related to the voice chat, and I don't know if it's because we decided to play Open Mic or if it's caused by something else entirely, however every now and then one of us would hear the other person on the radio repeatedly saying the same thing over and over again, this would loop forever until the other person spoke to interrupt and break the loop. Annoying, but very easily fixable, and happened very occasionally.
