Lets get this out of the way: Yes this game is early access and all the negative points i have could be improved upon in the future. I still think its valid to mention them. But first the positives: - the game looks good, i like the artstyle - building a ship plus crew is fun, the equipment for ships lets one fantasize about different build and leveling your sailors to fill different roles is cool - the music gives a nice ambience and isnt too aggressive - the different kinds of "quests" can have an impact on how you prepare your ship and are fun for the most part -combat for the most part is fun and kept me engaged Now let me showcase some negatives: -the farming feels completely unnecessary, i grow 10 plots of potatoes because my crew loves it and its an easy morale boost, but it isnt fun and controls badly - there are WAY too many blueprints and i had no fun trying to collect them especially because a lot of them are for the castle and -> - your castle and siege aspects of it feel completely unnecessary as well -maybe i should have spent more time with the castle but assigning crew or even materials to build felt cumbersome and i never engaged with the system since in it was mentioned in the first minutes of the game - even though the shipbuilding is fun but it felt like a lot of weaponry or "rooms" were not viable or redundant especially when i consider the small ship sizes that are available to me in my eleven hours of play - the mainstory gets dropped after what feels like 20 minutes (early access i know) which left me a bit directionless - you can just miss/softlock quests and considering that there is only a handful of quests available at the moment it just feels bad - inventory management. when you want to build a gun at your home island, the game doesnt recognize if you have iron bars in a chest on the island for example, it has to be in your inventory or that it seems like you cant activate blueprints when you are on the sea. I only managed to activate blueprints when i used them while im on an island - it felt too grindy for me. Again very subjective but for me the difficulty jumps between 1 skull ships to 2 skulls and so on felt very steep and the time you need, getting the necessary resources, money or character levels until i felt comfortable, was too long. I would love to play more of this game and get to a point where i can fight 4 skull ships but man i dont wanna grind out blueprints or character levels anymore for now But after all that i would personally still give it a recommendation. In the 11 hours i played, i had a lot of fun and when the game gets more content and is a bit more streamlined i can see myself coming back to it for sure. It is great to see Projects like "Seablip". Is it rough around the edges? Sure but i love the direction this game is headed towards and i wish the developer all the best. If any of my points were wrong please correct me and with that said and you reading this far, i wish you a wonderful day.

I'd like to play on steam deck. Developer should add controller support. As of right now, the steam deck controls are too janky and I haven't played it much.

Well i put more hours into this game and i must say i love it. It is very short and very raw. But it has so much potential and it just has something very addictive to it. I love it but it is very short. No real Questlines and nothing really fits but you can wander around and do random stuff.

This game is amazing! It’s scratching an itch for me I’ve had for a long time. I play exclusively on steamdeck and it works well enough using the trackpad as a mouse. Overall, a game that I keep thinking about when I lay in bed. Great work and can’t wait to see where they go with it.
