Okay, after taking months off from horror games...i gotta say this one GOT me. The tension, the hyper-realism, the clever build ups to specific moments and of course the f****** audio was so well done. IMO the formula of a horror game is done very very very well in this one. This will have you sweating, paranoid, second guessing and most likely put in dread LOL Big recommend for Horror lovers, this one does NOT disappoint at all. ALSO SUPER IMPORTANT, SHOULD PUT A DISCLAIMER FOR THOSE THAT HAVE HEART ISSUES. BONUS to players: If you add your own voicing acting in the game, it will increase your immersion. TRUST.

In SHE WAS 98, you play as a grandson returning to his elderly grandmother’s house to “help” her. The story is pretty interesting, with a Kafkaesque tone that gradually turns into a personal journey through a man’s mind. The sound design is excellent. Although the entire game takes place inside the grandmother’s house, the environment is rich in details. There are a few minor audio bugs, but nothing that seriously harms the experience. As a walking simulator, the gameplay is simple. The game is also short, lasting around 45 minutes. The atmosphere is strong, though not particularly terrifying (I was only scared once or twice). While it is far from N4bA’s best or scariest work, it is still an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. The head wobble creates a lot of motion sickness but when you're focused on other things it doesn't hurt as much. Some jump scares. Creepy atmosphere. A lot of back and forth. Not bad, but not as good as their other games

N4bA is hands-down THE BEST indie horror developer out there. And when they team up with Notex, you KNOW it is going to be good! I've been waiting nearly 2 years for another game of theirs since "Psalm", and this was worth the wait! Amazing tension, super messed up story, and some unbelievable scares. (honestly one of them might be the WORST I have ever had) Overall a great game and worth the price! Loved playing this with my chat!
