Not sure why anyone is mad about the game using procedural generation when it says right there in the main body of the ABOUT THIS GAME section, "After each battle, pick your path between story events, resource gathering, shops and treasure rooms, until you get to the final boss of each procedurally generated adventure ." I've had a ton of fun with this game, especially with the seamless multiplayer. The skill building and weapon crafting and upgrading makes for some crazy powerful build combos and multi/split class type builds. The Roguelike mode is challenging with 4-6 players and makes you take a unique approach to how you develop your character. Roguelike mode is also great for seeing and experiencing skills you likely wouldn't otherwise see without a ton of playtime as you level up after every battle and choose from a set of 4 random skills from random classes, so you can potentially end up with Tier 3 skills once you hit level 2 that would otherwise take 4-5+ levels to access. It's also easy to jump in, make a quick run and jump back out for a quick fix.

It's like Divinity, but there's no story (that I care about) and it doesn't take 80 hours to see your build come together. This means that you and the Boyz get to test half a dozen builds in a reasonable amount of time.

Fun game, but glitchy like a mofo. Freezing up at random bosses in campaign, a persistent bug that hasn't been fixed in roguelite, I'm not sure if either of these are even being fixed.

Not the best graphics or story depth, but very easy to jump in with friends and have a lot of fun. Comparable combat depth to Divinity.

This is one of the biggest sleeper games on Steam and I'm surprised nobody I know has heard of it. There's a wide range of skills and abilities to give you the freedom to craft whatever kind of character you want, with more on the way. There's a wide range of enemies that are excellently balanced with one another; rarely feeling like one region has a particularly trivial or broken enemy type, with many difficulty levels available to tune the overall challenge to your preference. The graphics look fine, even good as far as the effects on some of the spells go. There seems to have been a lot of plot/writing added since I got the game, and unfortunately they're hard to appreciate when randomly added to the middle of your game, but from what I've seen and what there was before the campaign bosses had a lot added to them, there is a lot of solid writing to add some character and soul to Stolen Realm. Everything this game tries to do, it does pretty well, and whenever I can't decide what to play, Stolen Realm is a solid choice to come back to.
