I would advise everyone to 100% give this game a chance. Was insipred from playing Sons Of Rome and Zeus Master of Olympus This game takes a minute to warm up to. The initial grind and everything being in Latin is frustrating at first, but then eventually you get the feel of it. Similar to enshrouded, it takes a minute to get your bearings and understand how things work. However, once you start understanding the mechanics and what nto the game starts to flow well. My overall suggestions to the dev team include: Redo the UI a bit so its not as clunky: -Change the way storage works so its easier to trasnfer stuff from inventory to storage etc -Change the right click mechanic to randomly making things drop and disappear lol. (instead of having to left click on everything. -Change the inventory system because its confusing to know what I have equiped v.s. what I am dropping, vs what the team has. (ITS VERY CONFUSING WHEN U DROP SOMETHING FROM INVENTORY AND IT UNEQUIPS IT! PLEASE KEEP EQUIPPED AND INVENTORY STUFF SEPERATE THANKS.!!!!!!) Gameplay Changes please- -Allow your soldiers to set up little camps with tents and fire while out in the world. -Add horses into the game -Explain the wagon mechanic better. -Allow building temples to get buffs from different gods and passives. -Please clean up UI Overall game is not new player friendly but ramps up fast once you give it a chance. My fear is that people will not have the patience for it and refund it. Please redo some UI and crafting changes and inventory transfering stuff (basic stuff) and redo tutorial. Thx Overall score 7/10 but massive potential.
Its currently a jankfest that makes your eyes bleed (esp the camera movement is so weirdly micro-stuttery that the eyes hurt but you get used to it lol) but maaaaan does this game have potential (yes, I said it... the most toxic word on Steam) I get it we´ve all been burned by janky EAs with loads of potential but this just got so much going for it... just PLEASE stop making me search 5 camps to find stupid metal junks... its random i get it but i killed 2 enemy camps, checked 2 friendly camps and 1 neutral and no iron parts in any of the sacks!
Developers are actively working on polishing the game! There is already a lot of good content with being able to build a base, hunt, progression tiers, fighting, and much much more. I'll tell you this game has a lot of potential and I recommend that you come and at least watch it grow! Also help look for bugs amongst other ways you can help.
