I really wanted to like this game, and overall I did.....to an extent, but the pros don't outweigh the cons. The idea of being able to unlock characters based on items being next to each other? BRILLIANT! Being able to pick the environment and weather? WONDERFUL! Having no limitations on how close objects and walls can be near each other or even phase through each other? AMAZING! But other than that it has some extreme limitations. It can be enjoyable for those who are ok with these limitations, but I'm not one of those people. 1. None of the colors of any of the objects can be changed, NONE, I wish I could make the walls, roof, signs, everything a different color, this game is a vey limited sandbox game. 2. The camera is at a fixed front-facing angle. The farther you go left or right you can then see a small bit of the side of the building you are creating, but the entire game uses the X, Y, and Z axis, when moving items you have to borderline guess if things are lined up. 3. It feels almost like a liminal space if no characters are on screen, but the characters you do put on the screen just exists in the environment, they don't interact, or animate when occupanied by other's, no one walks around, or does anything. If you like games where you can just turn off your brain and are given a set amount of objects to play with then this game is for you, but be aware ahead of time, that this game can only do so much even as a sandbox game.

This is a lovely, chill game. lovely needs more things to build tho. but nice so far. I'd love to use my "builds" in/for wallpaper engine. that would be awesome :D.

Nice and entertaining little building toy, but there aren't many pieces to play with or backgrounds to build against which limits your creative options. You unlock a few bits but it needs quite a few more imo, lots more building types, roof types, etc. You can build a lot of different buildings but they all look kinda the same few types. Also, they're confusingly ordered and if you turn off pixellation fx on the main screen, the catalogue images are still pixellated. so it becomes a bit of a guessing game what size thing you're going to get or what it will say on a sign. I can't imagine anyone can tell the difference between the 6 wooden building blocks without using trial and error to learn the order -- they're just different brown smudges in the build screen. It's charming and I liked it but it's pretty limited, feels like it's a cool digital Fuzzy Felt, but with only half the pieces. More pieces and backgrounds and it will be better for it.
