A tile-based landscape puzzle that looks a lot like a Dorfromantik clone but really isn't! It has its own mechanics, style, unlockable building structures & cute animals to pet for extra points. I really like this game! It's cute, it's relatively simple while still being challenging, and it's a good anxiety reducer for me. I know other folks are complaining that this is just a worse Dorfromantik, but now that I've tried Dorfromantik, I actually like Panorama better! I don't have any major complaints about this game. I find it a little annoying that the rotate and zoom functions are both tied to the scroll wheel on the mouse with seemingly no way to remap them. But that's a very minor gripe as there are separate keyboard key functions for both. Overall, it's a great little game that I keep coming back to.
Love Dorf Romantik, thought this might be able to scratch a similar itch. It's fine, not as well structured as Dorf Romantic, doesnt set its hooks into your brain as much. Went through once, unlocked al the buildings, don't have a real urge to play it again. Fun enough to pick at lazily at the end of the day.
This is basically just dorfromantik but slightly worse. However, that still means it's good! I have a sick twisted hunger for these kinds of games where you put things next to other thing to score points and combos, and Pan'orama is far on the relaxing side of the scale. Great timewaster. Two small issues, first is the menu screen looks very AI which is blegh (though afaict the actual gameplay is all 3d models?) and second you win the game by placing down every single structure... which means on a first win you've seen and used all of them... bit of an odd choice as that doesn't leave much to replay. You'll get your money's worth if you buy it on sale, though.
This is one of those games which is both quite simple and incredibly complex. It's a relaxing moderately cerebral game which can feel a bit confusing at first in its simplicity until you get a feel for the patterns and gameplay. Overall, I have quite enjoyed this game and feel I have gotten my money's worth.
