As an Italian fan, Sio's humor never disappoints. After getting 100% of the achievements, here's my take: I've known Sio's Scottecs series ever since I was a preteen: I've bought all of his Scottecs Megazines, all the currently available Scottecs Gigazines, and a lot of merch in general just to enjoy his simplistic art style and absurdly unpredictable sense of humor. Seeing the game adaptation from Studio Evil made me quite satisfied: not only did they include all of the main characters that appear in the comics, but also stayed truthful to the events and never-ending gags, like the number 7 being the maximum measurement for anything. Gameplay-wise this game is a bit confusing: maps are not that accurate and it's easy to get lost without a proper sense of direction. Furthermore, the spring mechanic allows you to unknowingly skip some sections of the map and land in a later section of the same area, which is funny to me. However, the vast range of armor, weapons and secrets scattered throughout the levels makes it all worth it: playstyle changes continuously and doesn't get that repetitive as you are fighting, the skill tree grants unique abilities and you can EAT ROCKS to heal, which is crazy. In the end I liked it for its nonsensical humor and unique art style, and the game greatly encapsulates this universe. 7/7
