I love this game. It's fun, entertaining and one of a kind. This game changed a lot since release and Tamashika is evolving each day. Dev takes a good care of Tamashika and does frequent updates. There is a lot of content that YOU have to find yourself and in my opinion thats the fun thing about it. Its based on your preference. If you want to only shoot and enjoy the game, then you can, but if you want to explore the maps you can also find some things that could be useful in the future. Sure, I must say this game is repetetive, BUT thanks to new updates and new stuff added to the game it doesnt feel that much repetetive how it used to be in beta (Also I do not have a problem with repetitivness). Movement and the gameplay is really smooth and fits the game perfectly, but what I have to point out is that camera shakes are sometimes really questionable. I remember the early stages of the new shake and sometimes it was a mess like that your screen just moved to the upper right corner of the monitor. That does not happen now, but I still feel like sometimes the shake just moves my screen a little bit too much than I would be expecting. Also another thing I have to point out are the placements of enemies. When going for high scores in transcend there are some places where your combo breaks right before you can shoot an enemy to refresh the timer, but thats just my personal problem since I am trying to get the biggest scores I saw the map maker a few times and from the point of view of dev its not easy to make a perfect placements of enemies, but you as a new player you will hardly notice any problem. I really also like that this game is fully customizable and you can play around with sprites to make your arms or gun look better (Yes it is also possible to change enemies sprites etc. shout out to Timofey that did a full Tamashika modpack "Tamashika 2: electric boogaloo"). I love it how dev is listening and takes care of the community. One time I was asking for a bigger dosage and after a few updates the new dosage was availible in the settings. I do recommend this game and it is worth the money in my opinion Tamashika is really one of a kind game and post void is nothing close to this. I want to see this game evolve even more in the future Forever love to vidhvat & Tamashika <3
It's a very short game, and most of the content is about doing runs on different randomly generated levels with different enemy placement and different items. The entire gameplay loop is about timing your parries and shots while you constantly advance. Personally, I would recomend it only if it's not very expensive in your region, since it doesnt have that much variety.
Game is definitely not for the epileptic, the art overall, including 3d and 2d is very alluring to the eyes, it makes the gameplay feel very immersive. I put on breakcore music and replayed, I WOULDN'T recommend the game YET, it is definitely worth the money, but for the amount of content no. The game itself seems like it's pretty fast pace, ultrakill, but anime kawaii waifuu leafyishere gameplay which is exactly what I was expecting and love the aesthetic, but just would like more levels. Only like 1-2 levels rn, still fun, I have the number 1 spot globally rn so I'm happy, and the next level comes out 07/08 I believe, so maybe check it out then. Otherwise very cool game, and am excited to see more. TLDR: Definitely a well-made fast paced ultrakill-esc shooter (idk what they're called) It's definitely differnent in it's anime LSD aesthetic and that's cool Just not enough levels yet, maybe buy a bit later
The negative reviews for this game make me really sad! Read the store page description, unique-ass title, you get 1 level per day. Recent update allowed "time-traveling" to previous days, so you can play previous levels if the one level a day isn't enough for you. Very similar to Thumper in it's gameplay, once in flow-state I feel like it's rhythm is more akin to that game rather than Post Void. Don't want to get into the whole AI thing but I assure you the human-touch on this game is more evident than any AI influence. Super fun, 10/10, play it like Wordle
