Ultimate "Hell is other people" game. Enjoy and appreciate the subtlety as well as, many a times not even intentional, cruelty of human behavior. No one person is just one thing, etc, etc, etc. No one is an island and we need each other to simply survive. Well written, acted out and detailed.

this game is so human. genuinely brilliant. its so cool to play a game that uses (very unique) gaming mechanics to explore themes of memory and trauma. the story is a slow and steady build, and it executes very intense moments of sadness, joy and fear very well. i was so engaged, the lives of the twins genuinely mattered to me. i wanted to know more just as much as they did. as many comments have pointed out, the representation is great. the writers clearly cared about portraying a meaningful, messy, complicated and very real story. and the setting!! it's beautiful, and so immersive. the isolation, the weather - these elements were so well portrayed. (this is a great game to play during the winter time.)

good story, a little bit short but it didn't need to be any longer, very touching, not the most modern graphics tho but still immersive enough

Many will pick and drop this game, thinking it is about transitioning, but it is not. It is about people .. but most importantly, mothers. It is about your relationship with your mother and the concept of a mother's love. You may believe you understand what I mean when I say that, but you do not. The characters in this game are all well thought out and written. They have so many details that you can't help but form an opinion about them. You will find yourself loving them at times and then not as the events change. Just like in real life, we are all living our own little stories in our corner of the world, and so were this lady and her twins. If you could look past the idea of transitioning, you will find a story that will sometimes move you to tears. At the end of the day, we are all human, and we are all united in our yearning for our mother's unconditional love.
