Short FMV game in apocalyptic styling, simple walking simulator, there are some choices, but mainly only ending-related choice means something. Overall, I liked it, story is interesting, but with it being a pretty short game I recommend to buy Bunker on some sale.

A bleak, gripping FMV thriller with light point-and-click elements The Bunker isn’t your typical FMV game. Unlike most in the genre, this one doesn’t offer multiple dialogue choices throughout. Instead, it plays more like a minimalist point-and-click adventure with some light interaction — button mashing sequences and quick events, most of which are pretty forgiving (except one near the end that may catch you off guard). The story follows John, a man living alone in a government bunker with his mother after a nuclear disaster. When his mother dies, you guide him through the crumbling facility, uncovering buried memories through flashbacks. The pacing is slow but deliberate, with a tone that leans heavily into psychological horror and emotional trauma. Despite its low budget, The Bunker manages to deliver a surprisingly strong narrative. The acting, especially from the lead, is convincing and heartfelt, and the production values—while modest—are used effectively to create a tense, claustrophobic atmosphere. Gameplay is minimal, and the experience feels more like a 2.5-hour interactive film than a traditional game. There’s little replay value aside from a branching choice at the very end. But if you’re into narrative-driven experiences and don’t mind limited interactivity, it’s worth a watch/play.

A game for a couple of hours, a funny atmosphere with horror elements, professional acting and a high-quality soundtrack.

I liked it alright. It's a pretty straightforward suspenseful end-of-the-world story. The acting is alright, though a bit over the top at times. The gameplay is mostly QTEs and some point-and-click style. There's no inventory system and no puzzle solving. The only reward you get for not going straight for the objective, is just some more clarity when it comes to the game lore and Steam achievements if that's your cup of tea. As an interactive movie it's alright to spend one evening on.

3.5/5 Kinda worse than I remembered it. The game is really short, the story is one dimensional with one obvious twist, it is interesting from the psychological standpoint. All that happens is a sequence of fast paced scenes but those create a good immersion and make you think about what would you do in such a complicated scenario of being trapped in a bunker.
