If you just want to mess around and play arcade games, this game is great and thus why I give it a positive review However the story mode is unbearably slow and boring to the point where I almost went negative, but because it's fully optional and you can get the full experience without even entering it I will leave a positive Achievements do suck and are grindy but that's so minor it doesn't effect my overall opinion
I won't lie, this game's 1.0 launch is not great, with lots of glitches and it running worse than usual on my PC. That being said, this game truly does have a lot of potential, and I have faith that it'll get the fixes it needs. I've really enjoyed playing the game in early access, and it holds a very special place in my heart. It may not be the next GTA, and it may be a little rough around the edges, but it has so much soul and so much love put into it that I'm excited to see where things go from here. If you're reading this around the time that this review was posted and you're interested in buying the game, I'd recommend waiting a bit for some of the bugs and issues to be fixed and keeping the game wishlisted in the meantime. Otherwise, if it's been a few months and some fixes have been rolled out by now, please give this game a try! I couldn't recommend it enough <3
God I love this game so much. Fell in love with the game back when brutalmoose dropped his first video on this game. I've always been an arcade enthusiast and finally seeing the game leave early access soon is getting me very excited! Fun and chill gameplay experience, with more than enough games to keep a person entertained. So excited to see more additions to the game and can't wait to have more mindless fun!
I adore Coin Game, but recommending it is tricky. Every machine I've tested this on, that being 2 separate PCs and a Steam Deck, the game runs kinda choppy even on the lowest settings. Its far from unplayable, and I imagine the physics objects make this tricky to optimize, but its something to keep in mind before picking it up. If you can look past it, absolutely go for it you will not regret it. I like to throw the robots around, this game is toys for me.
