A little bit short and linear. It feels more like a DLC for The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters than a standalone game. The story is fine, though. It’s nice to finally learn more about what happened to the main protagonist, so I have no complaints there. The gameplay is also pretty much what you’d expect from Vicious Sisters. Since this feels more like a DLC, there isn’t much that feels particularly new or different. The puzzles are less complicated, but somehow more annoying, though I guess that depends on your taste. P.S. I still love the game. My only real downside is the contrast between Hwarang Yu-gyom Han’s legendary reputation and how ridiculously stupid he can be in this game.
Man, I'm so glad the map now changes when you encounter a blocked exit or entry so it updates every time in all zones. So, the sequel to The coma: recut, continues here with a longer intro, smoother animations, more gameplay mechanics, a better map layout and realistic hiding (now you will see nearly black pitch when hiding but you can clearly listen when chasers are near). There are so many cool and interesting concepts in the game, I would recommend this game if you enjoyed the previous ones and to play those first before this one so you see the improvements the dev team has made. Also very nice partial Korean VA. My only issue is the limited 4 save slots (please increase them to 8). Btw, the noteman is the GOAT.
After really enjoying both previous games, I was looking forward to this little side story, and thankfully it didn't disappoint. If you're familiar with the series, you'll feel right at home here because the gameplay is pretty much identical. There's not much in terms of new mechanics, but honestly, I didn't really mind. We do get a few new characters and locations, and my favorite part was seeing the lore of this universe continue to grow. I love how all these games connect with each other. One of the coolest things about this one is that its story runs parallel to The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters . It's a fun idea, and seeing familiar events from a different perspective kept me interested the whole way through. That said, I definitely wouldn't recommend starting the series here. Newcomers will probably spend most of the game wondering what on earth is happening, so playing the previous entries first is almost essential, trust me! The game isn't very long or particularly difficult, but there are a handful of collectibles to find and even a couple of different routes you can choose near the beginning, which adds a little replay value. My biggest disappointment was the English localization, I have to say… I can easily forgive the occasional typo or awkward sentence, but this was on a completely different level. It honestly felt like almost every single line had some kind of grammatical mistake or strange wording, and there were multiple moments where I genuinely had no idea what the game was trying to tell me. If even a non-native English speaker like myself notices that many issues, something clearly went wrong… Despite that, I still had a great time with it. It may not reinvent the formula, but if you're already invested in this series, it's another enjoyable trip into its creepy world! Now I'm even more excited to jump into The Coma 3: Bloodlines , and hopefully it won't keep me waiting long before dragging me back into this nightmare world.
A good game with a great story (following the two previous games) and cool gameplay. The hardest levels (imo) were the Cave and the Hospital. The latter is way easier once you know the puppet's weakness (by reading the notes). There were some bugs (like the game refusing to load after the Computer Room cutscene) and translation issues, but otherwise this is worth buying if you liked the first two games.
