Quick review regarding Steamdeck compatibility ~ It appears to run smoothly, but it is not playable out of the box without changing your controller layout. Even after binding F1 to access the menu in game, there was no way I could find to rebind keys to their correct buttons. The control stick works, but there is no way to start a game, so I am unsure what other buttons work out of the box. My solution was to rebind buttons according to the predetermined keyboard layout (ex. the spacebar/action button to "A"), since I had "cleared" the controller inputs and it was impossible to remap anything. This worked great and felt pretty normal to play with. (Added to community layouts, called Keyboard>Steamdeck layout for RE3 Nemesis) The launch menu also requires using the touchscreen, or possibly the trackpad, but I found the touchscreen to work much better. No cloud saves is a huge bummer because I like to switch between PC and steamdeck. Hoping this is added soon. Do I recommend playing RE3 Nemesis? Absolutely! Is this the best way to do it? Maybe not depending on what you're going for lol

Finally, Classic 1999 RE3 is on steam. Every RE fan knows that this game is 10/10. Though it is not remastered, but Capcom allows us to set the screen resolution up to 4K. Tank control might be tough for young RE fans, but as a veteran fan, I LOVE IT! Nemesis: "STARS!"

One of the best games of all time This version has the 7 extra costumes and mercenaries mode You can change the resolution, enable anti aliasing, anisotropic filtering, fullscreen or windowed I don't see how to remap buttons, but it works fine with a controller. There doesn't seem to be a reset/options ingame menu though.
