Very fun platformer. Kinda hard for me cause i'm very bad at parry stuff, i'm a button smasher. Not really a metroivania, you only backtrack for some chests after you find keys. Very well done tho graphics and move set, story and all. Quite fast gameplay.

A relatively new studio with this being the second game in their portfolio. The story feels like mustache-twirling-levels-of-evil generic storytelling for both villain and hero. But It did have satisfying combat and platform mechanics and gameplay. To the very end there was always something new going on that kept the game from getting stale. It'd give it a solid 80/100 that is a decent time for a metrovania style game.

great metroidvania. if youre a fan of samurais and metroidvanias then this is an easy sell. im lvl 38 right now and im 8 hours in id say the game is 8/10 - 9/10. when everything is clicking you feel like such a savage when getting perfect parrys and clearing the screen. no better feeling then dying to a boss over and over till you beat so bad that you get the ultimate stun that takes 1/3 and evaporates the enemy by holding Y. buy this game buy it at full price it doesnt matter.

If I could give a neutral review I would. Ultimately there isn't really anything new that has not been done before. That being said there are some flaws that can't be ignored. Some really annoying enemy types in the 3rd area and some of the sound mixing is really atrocious. If I had to give it a score I'd say 7/10.
