This game is gorgeous. Art, animations, music, and voice acting are all spectacular, and the English translation is actually clean — not “good enough for foreigners on Steam” just good. Combat is the other half of why it works. It plays a lot like Fire Emblem: grid tactics, positioning, unique heroes with distinct kits. It just skips a lot of the usual FE friction — less hit-trading, no weapon triangle — and instead builds toward those character-specific EX skills that wipe a cluster once the meter is full. Feels more like setting up a payoff than grinding through a rock-paper-scissors matchup. It’s a late 90s early 2000s SRPG remade with real care, and it shows. Shame most Western players will never hear about it. If you like tactical RPGs and you’re tired of waiting for the next big FE-like, this is worth looking at.
An excellent game for Fire Emblem fans. Spectacular animations, highly entertaining battles, a solid story, class progression, and on top of that it features Gwent. That’s right: if you played The Witcher 3 and loved playing Gwent as much as I did, you’ll find it here too. I’d describe this as the Chinese Fire Emblem. Not actually made by Nintendo, but crafted with such excellence that it feels like it was.
