This game somehow brings me my childhood joy of when I was young and haven't learned English yet. It's like that game half the time it's about figuring out how things work (even with english translation mod, the tutorial teaches the basic but nowhere near enough to understand the fundamentials.) For some weird reason, I still ended up having fun. But this definitely not everyone's cup of tea. In the vast sea that is all the weird Chinese game and occationally untranslated slop, this is peak cinema. 7/10 would leave the game open on auto fighting a tiger as a 4 pure essense bum while cooking dinner 20 minutes. Come back and still just halfway through its injury bar.

Where to begin....... I've played this game for 1700 hours and I'll likely play it for 10,000 more. I've played this game since the characters were jank and looked like they were drawn by 10 year olds. I've played this game since before the moves had animations and you had to imagine what the attack effects would look like. I've played this game since the dark ages. My childrens children will likely play this game. With all that said, if you love Wuxia sims, this is THE game to play. THAT BEING SAID: the following is also true..... The game was made primarily for the chinese audience, therefore there's no official english translation. The devs have been saying the English translation is coming, however the release has a history of getting pushed back. The English Mod DOES exist and it's come a LONG way through the efforts of Li Wei and the gang of the discord. That being said, it's still very much imperfect. A small unofficial (unpaid) mod team with personal lives can only do so much. IF the current English Mod is too abrasive for you, you will not like this game. If you can accept the English Mod as it is, this is objectively one of THE BEST GAMES OUT PERIOD. I would pay $60 for this game. Let alone $20. I have games that I've paid more for that give SIGNIFICANTLY less content than this game does. Not to mention, despite their flaws, the devs do constantly update and upgrade the game. You can tell the game itself is a labor of love. They want to build something fun, even if some understandably don't agree with how they're building it.

首先对于刚上手的玩家来说，入门有一定难度。系统复杂互相交错，机制关联一堆，很容易看懵逼，UI部分也不是很好用（不过听说最后会重做整个UI） 对照着B站几个大佬的教程玩起来会快很多（推荐恶鬼教程） 如果你从入门两眼一抹黑的阶段挺过来了，那恭喜你即将进入上头期，游戏里花里胡哨的各种系统机制你可以随便拆解组合起来使用来达到自己的目的，这也是我最喜欢的地方，终点也许是唯一的，但过程不会唯一

The depth of many of the systems surprises me, even if this game has been in development for a while. So far I have enjoyed my time, even with half-complete translation mods. I am impatient for games getting updated, but I feel I will be enjoying this game for quite a long time. I keep learning about a system I had no clue existed every time I make another character, like the empty slots in the breakthrough tree (specifically that it's not just exp scrolls you can put in there, but various actual items as well). Or how NPCs can borrow manuals from the public storage as if it was a public library.
