Short and very enjoyable. Some acts hit hard, some not really, but following the unwinding story was interesting. I wish ending was more twisted tho.

Amazing game, feels like I'm doing EMDR therapy ;-; One thing I currently dislike about the game is the newton's cradle, the timing is off. Bugs me, but I will still watch it every time, love that thing almost as much as the teddy bear

If you love detective games with unfolding stories this game is for you. I enjoyed every minute of it! I wish there could have been more, it is a pretty short game.

The Shattering is a very interesting take on the "let's dive deep into this person's memory" kinda game. I enjoyed the overally style of the game, with mostly black and white and little splashes of color. The story is also quite well done and the interactive questioning is a nice touch. John's story is very interesting and unusual, when i first played it, i was very surprised by the turn of events towards the end. When i played it for the second time i was amazed that there are quite a few clues in the game beforehand. One run takes about 2 hours and you have to play it twice if you want to see both endings (they only differ in the very last scene though and you don't really need to see both anyways). Still, even with a playtime of 4.5 hours, i think that the full price is maybe a bit too much. I bought the game on sale for a lot less and feel that was an appropriate price for it.
