friend o friend.. theres alot to be iterated upon, this is a great game, i love it really. however some things can be changed. ill make a list until i cant think anymore. 1. manualism. i love how reloading is manual, but i dont like the manual walking. the manual breathing and blinking are pretty good, i'd say. but if we could toggle what is manual and what isnt, like just have 4 check boxes. Reload, Breathing, Blinking, Walking. check em if you want that manual or not. this could also turn into a difficulty system, check none for baby difficulty on manualism, and the more you check the more it adds. 1=easy, 2=normal, 3=hard, 4=expert depending on what you checked. so if you check reload and blinking, itd be normal. if you checked walking, itd be upped to normal if standalone and hard if with 1 other itd be hard, and with 2 or more itd be expert. based on difficulty of maintaining each system. 2. the map. this is an easy fix i think, if it werent just blank halls and rooms it could be better, maybe have different maps and instead of being scripted its all generative. every run will be unique. maybe even add environmental dangers. 3. enemies i love the current enemies, but differenciations in enemies would be nice. if co-op is added, you could add gun wielding enemies. the reason for gun-wielding enemies is cause your teammate can cover you. however, only have gun enemies spawn if it is infact co-op and theres more than 1 player. also more enemy variants, i'd love to see a leader or something that provides morale boost to the nearby enemies, like more speed or damage or unpredictability. i also love how its like the mask is controlling them wildly, they jump around and kinda thrash on the ground. but we could also use a riot shielder. 4. co-op PLEASE add this for gods sake, i know not many people know of this game and certainly none of my friends, but if we could have an ingame chat and co-op and maybe even voice chat that enemies can hear to find us, thatd be awesome. 2-6 players would be great honestly. 5. gamemodes im thinking several gamemodes. Survival Endless (already added) Campaign (sorta already added, could be longer.) Defense Raid maybe a few others these would, i think, improve the game way better. 6. mechanics leaning, sliding, crawling, crouching, jumping, maybe adding parts where you climb.

I'll be blunt here. Yes , the game is indeed lacking in content. (in my personal opinion.) Yes , the game does need a little more to it. And yes , the story does need more expansion. However, that is not is my focus. The focus of this review is what it delivered on. There wasn't really false advertising as far as I'm concerned. And to the people either joking or being literal about the Dev being something heinous, it needs to stop. It's not funny. It's basically hinting at something that doesn't need to be passed on or made into a thing when there is no evidence to support it. With that said, let's begin the review! The game does have difficult mechanics and does take time to master. And while yes, it is difficult to manage the breathing mechanic and blinking mechanic, they do make sense somewhat. Don't blink and your vision goes blurry. Don't breath and you die. To move may feel cumbersome at first, but you'll slowly understand and adapt. Entity-wise are either civilian or combative, you'll usually tell when someone is combative by the mask. However, I agree right now it feels stale and non-challenging due to the enemies just running at you with nothing but melee weapons. But, this also to me feels slightly balanced due to in Manual Mode you aren't exactly functioning fast at first. So to make up for it being melee fighters, they come in numbers. (This feels like "The Horde Wants You Dead" sort of logic for me.) However, this results in some scenarios where if you aren't good with ammo management or maintaining distance and sightlines you can get overrun. As it stands, there is no melee weapon. They could add guys with guns to shoot back, but I also am aware this would take time and possibly a lot more thought since they'd have to tweak how well they aim, if headshots instantly kill the player too, how often they fire, what they get access to, reaction time against you, etc. Maps-wise, items are NOT a scripted occurrence. At least not exactly. Weapons, laptop spawns and ammo seem (and probably are) scripted, but medkits don't follow this rule. I have noticed Laptops feel oddly placed and often leave you trying to fight as far as you can to the next room for a laptop or having to trek all the way back to an old one if you purchase something like the shotgun and don't wanna lose it by dying soon after. Areas are not generated, it is a scripted map. However, in terms of a campaign, this makes sense. Items-wise, there is occasionally mags that have a bigger ammo cap than the mags you get from buying. I see this as a neat little detail rewarding players for doing extra rooms. However, medkits spawn very little or too many for an area. I recommend trying to re-work spawn rates on medkits. Ammo rate and spawn is fine and I think it works. Gun-wise, there definitely are limited in options. You have a shotgun, handgun, and a rifle. You can buy a sight and extra ammo as you go. I do think some expansions would help. But it new guns, a way to upgrade how much ammo you get, and more. Deaths are actually more forgiving in the terms of currency. I'm not sure if people notice, but your currency doesn't get reset like your weapons and ammo. I found a way to abuse this to make things easier. Now, that doesn't erase the fact you need to trek all the way to where you last died, but it does mean you can have more ammo and even get a new gun and then save to make the area easier to manage. Suggestions As I said before, I definitely think adding more enemy types might be nice, but I also think that is asking too much due to how hard it is right now doing manual mode. And not to mention the work needed to balance it without it being the player getting domed if they don't have under 500ms reaction speed. A melee option would be nice. Not necessarily a knife or something that does damage, just enough to stun and back enemies off to reload. Extra weapons as I said before would be definitely enjoyed personally. I like to have different options, even if they replace 1 of the 3 slots. A revolver or M9 for the primary slot. A Carbine or Battlerifle for the Rifle slot, and a magazine fed shotgun like the AA12 or Saiga and a double barrel for the 3rd slot. Regardless, point is, more options, more customization and routes. I am aware this takes time to model, make, code, and more. I can be patient for this. Map generation would be helpful, it would spice things up and even add replayability. Whether you can do that or not is where I can't exactly demand it. Again, takes time. TLDR For those who just scrolled down here and didn't read...lazy. From my understanding, It is NOT a John Wick simulator. Not as of yet at least. For now, it feels like they're fleshing out gameplay, of which I can respect. And while they do have a beginning marking a bit of the story, it definitely could add some more nuance or even a beginning mission/area to explore this. Overall, most of the fixes are stuff that can be added as you go and I feel like the Dev is taking their time to do. I am not expecting this to be made with the same budget or time as either Trepang, I am Your Beast, or even Hole. And I recommend you do the same and manage expectations first before playing. The game is hard. But it is fun if you like games that involve details. And if you don't want so many, just play normal! It's still requiring ammo management and other tactics! So, that is all. Enjoy the game!...or don't. I'm not you. But they did kill your cat...so...

The game is very resource-intensive. The game's mechanics are well-designed. However, the objects are still not perfect. There's a gun jamming system. The gun sounds are poor to very poor. Overall, at this price, buying it is considered funding the developers to create a better game in the future. ***During gameplay, the system uses 100% of its resources. My system specs are: Ryzen 5 5600, Nvidia 2060 6GB, SSD, 24GB DDR4 RAM. (i just edit it)sry............***
