This game had the potential to be the standard of shooter games for years to come. Shooter games were PERFECTED here and instead the people chose hero shooters, tac shooters, BR’s, and whatever the hell CoD decides to release every year. The fact that this game exists is a slap in the face to all AAA shooter releases in the past 10 years, because the devs understood that games are for the players, and not a tool to suck the the most money possible out of the consumer. For a whole THREE UNITED STATES DOLLARS (on sale) you get a complete and working campaign (wow how did we get to a point where that isn’t standard) that has incredibly unique level design and so many memorable moments. The multiplayer provides the one of the most unique and fun gameplay loops I’ve ever seen. The interaction between all of the games mechanics, including pilots, titans, ability and weapon customization, movement, and map design create a phenomenal experience throughout every match. No holding angles for 2 minutes straight, no being forced to swap off heroes because they instantly lose to another hero, no battle royale. You get to play how you want whenever you want and the game rewards that with pure speed, power, and an adrenaline rush like nothing else. Also, this game has NONE of the predatory business practices that we see so often nowadays. There is a store (purely selling cosmetics) but its not shoved in your face constantly, there’s no battlepass, and an there’s extremely large amount of cosmetics that are completely free. Oh and, it looks great and runs great, even on older GPUs (perks of using the source engine) So yeah if you’re tired of modern shooters and looking for something that makes you feel like a badass without the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, pick up the greatest shooter games of all time for 3 dollars.

EA doesn't deserve Titanfall. This is one of the most beloved FPS games for a reason. The campaign is fantastic, the movement has an incredibly high skill ceiling, the guns are awesome, Titan combat is really fleshed out and integrates amazingly into the game's singleplayer and multiplayer, there's not really any microtransactions, and there's no skill-based matchmaking. You start out sucking at the game, and as you get better, you really feel your improvement as you begin to stand out against the other players in the lobby. It's very gratifying and refreshing compared to the dozens of modern FPS games where you are basically guaranteed to have a 50% winrate no matter how good you are due to their ELO systems. The overwhelming community love and support for this game that has grown even past the game's heyday is something that is extremely undervalued by soulless megacorp Electronic Arts. I guess it's just less risky and probably more profitable to continue to milk Apex Legends until the Titanfall franchise fades into irrelevance.

Somewhere out there, there's a universe where EA cared about this, but alternate universes don't exist (probably) Great game 10/10, please play

Delete and refund all your games. Titanfall shall fill the Titanfall shaped hole in your heart you never knew existed. This game fulfills every single possible wish any person out there has for a multiplayer movement shooter. It has been said millions of times before and I'll chant those same words, EA let this game die for the hell of it. It is a shame that the only reason this game is played today is the disaster that is Apex. This game needs zero new content for it to be relevant in modern gaming besides crossplay. The only thing holding it back to appeal to everyone is the necessity of the EA app. If this game is on sale buy it, if its not on sale buy it. You will love this game, no matter who you are.
