Its old, has an audio issue that happens with radio chatter but seemed to run fine. Story is cheesy, but the setting makes up for it. I generally have preferred the first Rainbow Six Vegas over the 2nd one.

If you are having problems starting the game and it crashes at launch i think i found a fix that worked for me. There is a exe in the game files called (Run me) this updates the game to work on at least my system Ryzen 5 5600x AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 Gig. Right click on the game in steam and go to manage then browse local files binaries and it should be in there hopefully that helps.

I own this on CD but decided to re-buy it on Steam as the game is that good. I thought when I revisited this game after almost 20 years that the nostalgia would be strong and the game would feel super outdated and not be as good as I remember. False! This game is just so damn good, and above all, really really FUN. The campaign feels very long, lots of variety, awesome music, great locations, and memorable experiences. If there is any game that deserves a remake, this is it in my opinion. They could leave the story and everything alone, JUST give us updated graphics, sounds, and animations, and it would do very well. If you've never played this game, do not let the age fool you, it's a grand old time to play though.
