First, for CLE (Clouded Leopard Entertainment) or GungHo Online Entertainment America to promptly reinstate regional pricing specifically for the SEA region (Indonesia, Malaysia Phillippines, Vietnam, Thailand, etc.) and avoid repeating the situation that occurred during the initial release of Trails in the Sky First Chapter last year. Personally spent around six hours playtime the demo. The Second Chapter's greatest strength has always been its story, and this remake successfully amplifies that emotional impact particularly regarding Estelle Bright's character development. The dialogue feels vibrant, and the inclusion of full voice acting during pivotal moments adds far greater emotional weight compared to the classic version. The remake adapts and refines a hybrid combat system that blends real-time field action with turn-based tactical battles. New features, such as "Brave Rush," allow for real-time combo attacks between characters to break enemy defenses before transitioning into turn-based combat. The expanded Quartz and Orbment systems offer flexibility for strategic experimentation while remaining challenging. Despite the modern visuals, the design structure of some dungeons retains old patterns; certain labyrinthine areas feel overly long and repetitive. Falcom appears reluctant to trim or restructure these classic dungeon layouts, a choice that risks inducing player fatigue. As a direct sequel set in the same region, the game revisits routes, paths, and towns explored in the First Chapter. While the narrative pacing and side quests have been adjusted and expanded, a sense of environmental dejavu sometimes unavoidable during the game's prologue.
