It looks like a simple cleaning game, but it feels like polishing up the past and the tender memories it holds. As the dust clears and things begin to glow, I somehow find myself settling in.

PLEASE BE AWARE: This is the saddest game I've ever played in my life. I was not aware it was a sad game, I like cleaning games. That being said, it is an amazing game with an amazing story. The gameplay is so refined and a wonderful experience. But you will cry if you play this game. Speaking from experience as someone who sobbed through the credits. Honestly I thought it was just a cozy cleaning game but I couldn't have been more wrong.

"Only in the darkest of nights can you discover the star hidden within..." You ever know you are going to like a game because it has quotes that just resonate with you? That's me with this game. It's so funny how I hate cleaning IRL. But virtual cleaning with a relatable story... I am so there, sponge in hand and all!! If you like Powerwash Simulator, I think you will like this game. I personally enjoy the core foundation of Powerwash Sim but found the tasks to be too overwhelming on solo play. This game is a much more simplified, less daunting take on a relaxing cleaning sim. But it is also so much more than that. In this game you follow the main character, Adora, as she cleans through dirty items and shares with you the memories that go along with them. As the story progresses, you discover an array of cleaning tools to get the job done right. I enjoy how after a certain cleaning point, you unlock the ability to see parts where you have missed, almost like an x-ray vision. The controls allow for you to clean while rotating the item which made for smooth gameplay. At 99% there is even an option for a 'quick clean' if you don't want to spend the time cleaning the more intricate spots. This game gave me both the warm feels and teary eyes. Adora thinks she lacks courage because she is scared to go back and visit a place full of memories. But courage doesn't mean that you aren't scared. Courage means that despite that fear, you continue to push forward. And you get to journey with Adora as she does just that. This is a charming bite sized game, with a touching story and a zen cleaning sim experience. I was able to complete the story in 2 hours but I don't feel like it needed any more time to get the heartfelt message across. It was honestly perfect and the cleaning felt very satisfying.
