It's honestly pretty good, I don't know why reviews are mixed. It's a lot more polished than some of the other jank on steam. Story is good, but its not finished. I like the crafting system more than the Long Dark, its much larger. I think the mechanics can be more refined but its worth the price for sure.

Played through Act I and II and enjoyed the story and gameplay. Still a bit buggy, controls sometimes a bit frustrating and the food spoil rate is way too high making every exploration feel too rushed. It would be nice if prepping for an explore was possible. The game includes making jam which is a preserve but it spoils within a day - why? An option to spend some time at base, collect and make more durable food so that going out to investigate every nook of the map felt a bit less panicky would be awesome. Also means that one could enjoy the otherwise beautiful scenery on occasions rather than running like possessed from A to B to avoid adaptation penalties. Regardless, very much looking forward to Act III.... pls tell me I am not hauling that flight recorder around with me for no reason? ;)

This game has come a long way now that act 2 is out. I haven't finished it yet so there is at least 15-20 hours of story mode. I could also see myself playing survival mode for another 30-40 hours as is so this is worth checking out now. I played over 600 hours of Long Dark. If you're a fan of that game, there's a good chance you'll like this one too.

Very cool and interesting survival game. Feels like a blend between The Long Dark and The Forest. Still need a lot of polish and more content. But it's definitely going in the right direction Can't wait to see what the future holds for this game. Looking forward to more Content!

I love the potential this game has. It is a bit frustrating with the insane concept because as a survivalist I would LOVE to live like this and it wouldn't affect me as easy as the mechanics currently do in game. I would love to see the food last a bit longer considering you live in a freezer. I would also love the ability to construct your own nails, as it is quite possible even in the real world. I am currently in Survival mode only as I hate questing. I love building and surviving. Devs have been very responsive to issues I have brought up. Keep up the great work!
